Chapter 2037: Chapter 2045: What Should We Do?

Because she knew there was another person inside the room who would protect her, Jane Sampson didn’t feel so scared being alone in the room.

She calculated the time, and when the mute aunt came in to give her medicine, she lay in the bed pretending to sleep.

After the mute aunt came in, she didn’t knock but directly walked in, without any hesitation lifted Jane Sampson’s quilt, and then pressed Jane Sampson to apply medicine on her arm. It was obvious that the mute aunt just considered this task as something James Black instructed her to complete.

Her movements, in fact, were even less gentle than when James Black applied medicine to Jane Sampson.

During the application of medicine, she didn’t look at Jane Sampson even once. It was only when Jane Sampson tried to pull back her hand in resistance that she pressed on Jane Sampson’s wrist more forcefully to prevent her from moving.

Jane Sampson lay there, performing the role of a person who’s lost all hope to a tee, only getting up from the bed again once the mute aunt had gone downstairs.

James Black didn’t tell Jane Sampson the exact plan for tonight; he only told Jane Sampson to stay in the room and not leave, waiting for messages.

Jane Sampson thought James Black would take quite some time at the hospital with that young psychopath.

However, after ten o’clock, James Black and that young man hurriedly returned.

The young man downstairs didn’t even have time to treat the wound on his waist.

The sound of them coming through the door wasn’t small, and they almost rushed in hurried and anxious.

”What should we do? We’ve been exposed! I didn’t expect to get tripped up by that Kane Forest!” The young man entered, his face pale, partly due to illness, but more because of his inner anxiety and anger.

”I just can’t figure it out; how was the one who attacked me last night that Kane Forest, aren’t big bosses like him supposed to be so idle? Willing to risk his life for a friend! If I hadn’t gone to the hospital due to my illness today and overheard this matter, if I’d found out even a bit later, the police might have already come looking.”

The young man couldn’t sit still, ”No, I have to quickly pack up and hide away.”

”I heard that Kane Forest still hasn’t been brought back from the ghost gate yet; if I get caught, first there’s the kidnapping of Jane Sampson, and then causing the death of Kane Forest, even ten lives wouldn’t be enough to be executed.”

The young man wasn’t legally illiterate; it was just that he never cared about these things and was used to doing as he pleased.

The mute aunt became anxious too, making gestures and sounds to ask the young man what to do.

”I have to pack my stuff and run away to hide.” The young man said, ”I’m going to seek protection from Big Brother, but Jane Sampson is in the way over there upstairs.”

At this point, the young man looked over at James Black, ”The police knowing means sooner or later they’ll trace it back here. If Jane Sampson continues to stay here and the police find her, that really would be evidence, and besides, Jane Sampson has seen me, the mute aunt, and Brother Strongman you, so Jane Sampson cannot be kept.”

Seeing James Black standing there with his eyebrows furrowed, the young man persuaded again, ”Brother Strongman, in our current situation, it’s impossible to take this woman Jane Sampson to my big brother for help. Even if my big brother were here, he would arrange it the same way; Jane Sampson cannot be kept, Brother Strongman, there are plenty more women out there, we don’t lack this one Jane Sampson.”

”So what are you suggesting?” James Black pretended to be persuaded and asked.

”Kill her, anyway the police already think Jane Sampson has long been dead, so kill her and bury her directly in the courtyard; just don’t let anyone find out.” The young man said.
