CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1877: Chapter 1885: No More Hiding

Jane Sampson didn’t expect Alexander Forest to declare his feelings for Nina Rice on twitter, forcing Nina to go abroad to avoid the spotlight, but it ended up boosting the business of their hot pot restaurant.

After ten o’clock in the evening, Jane Sampson was lying in bed talking with Nina on an overseas phone call. She learned from Nina that the hot pot restaurant usually operates until midnight. Now, it’s already after ten, and there are still more than a hundred people waiting in line. The employees are so busy that they don’t have a moment of rest all day.

Nina has gone abroad to avoid the heat, and the storefront is now managed by the manager Nina recruited from elsewhere with a high salary. So, even in Nina’s absence, the hot pot restaurant continues to operate as usual.

”Alexander is annoying, but he’s like a magnet for money,” Nina sighed. ”He turned my life upside down, but at least he left me with a fuller purse.”

”Things on the internet come and go in waves. You should take this opportunity to relax overseas, since you’ve been busy ever since the hot pot restaurant opened,” Jane Sampson suggested. ”Once the domestic attention dies down, you can come back, and no one will pay attention anymore.”

Jane Sampson said, ”To avoid disrupting your normal life, I’ve decided not to advertise our hot pot restaurant on twitter.”

Jane Sampson didn’t associate herself with opening the hot pot restaurant with Nina, so many netizens know the restaurant is Nina’s, but they’re unsure of its connection to her.

Jane feared that if she advertised, Nina would become popular again, leading crowds to stake out the restaurant hoping to see her.

”That’s fine. Previously, I was worried the business might not do well, so I considered having you advertise, but once we opened, business was consistently good. So, I didn’t mention having you promote it on twitter,” Nina acknowledged Jane Sampson’s reasoning.

She didn’t want to get involved with Jane Sampson or Alexander Forest to the point where she had to be fully armed just to go out, feeling unable to enjoy shopping freely.

As Jane Sampson expected, netizens’ attention to hot topics on twitter is fleeting.

Alexander couldn’t find Nina, and neither could the media reporters find Nina, who was far away overseas. Thus, the issue’s popularity gradually waned, and Alexander stopped his antics on twitter.

However, what really overshadowed the Chapter of Nina and Alexander was a tweet posted three days later by Mair Williams.

Just like that, I married him and became his wife.

My dearest, please take care of each other for the rest of our lives.

Mair’s tweet was accompanied by a mosaic-edited picture of a marriage certificate. The tweet was quickly catapulted to the hot search in a short amount of time.

Compared to the last time she announced her relationship, this time she directly posted a marriage certificate.

Mair Williams is considered one of the straightforward people in the circle; when she falls in love, she announces it without hiding.

When she got married, she immediately made it public, choosing not to conceal her marriage for the sake of her career.

She debuted as a singer, and after many years in the industry, she’s one of the rare artists without any scandals. Now that she announced her marriage, everyone in the circle is full of blessings.

Jane Sampson saw Mair hadn’t announced any pregnancy, so she didn’t bring it up to others.

She retweeted Mair’s post, writing many words of congratulations.

Congratulations on marrying for love, Amelia Delight. Wishing you a lifelong union of hearts. I’m just waiting for you to send me wedding candy! @MairWilliams:... —Jane Sampson.
