CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1750: Chapter 1758: Keeping Up with the Times

However, from the moment James Carter walked into the film crew over here, he could feel that every personnel and actor, even if there was fatigue hidden in their eyes, there was genuine laughter on their faces.

The atmosphere here was much more relaxed than that of Jillian Carter’s crew over there.

James Carter sat next to Jane Sampson, feeling relaxed himself, unlike the other crew where from the moment he walked in, his eyebrows would furrow unconsciously.

Looking at the fox ears on top of Jane Sampson’s head, which could easily pass for real, James Carter couldn’t help but smile at the corners of his mouth, reaching out to pinch the pair of ears on her head, and complimented, ”These ears really suit you, in internet speak, they look soft and cute.”

”Mr. Carter, you sure know a lot about internet slang.” Jane Sampson was a bit embarrassed by James Carter’s compliment.

This pair of ears was something the supporting staff spent a lot of effort to get, and today all her scripts required her to use these ears, so during breaks, she couldn’t take them off.

”Keep up with the times, to prove you’re not old yet.” James Carter smiled, retracted his hand and started talking to Jane Sampson about the song.

Back then, when Jane Sampson accepted the TV series script, she also promised the director to create an interlude, but later after she terminated the contract with the TV drama crew, this song naturally wasn’t given away.

Jane Sampson was glad at that time, as she was still pondering modifications before the termination.

Later, when the movie thing was confirmed, Jane Sampson didn’t waste time; after modifying the song, she sent it to James Carter, asking for his help to see where further modifications were needed.

Speaking of, Jane Sampson felt rather ashamed; she completed the entire song composition and lyrics, but got stuck on the song title, having thought of several but never quite satisfied, so she passed the challenge of the song title to James Carter.

”I didn’t make much change to your lyrics, just a bit on the tune; later I’ll hum the parts I changed for you to hear, as for the name, I haven’t thought of anything suitable yet.” James Carter paused before continuing, ”This is my first time encountering this style of music, but listening to it, it really gives a sweet, romantic feeling.”

”Mr. Carter, you also think it’s nice?” Jane Sampson felt relieved, ”At first, I was a bit embarrassed, fearing Mr. Carter would find it lacks depth, very childish.”

”Not at all, your composition is great, and the lyrics are interesting, with a sense of girlishness and romance that other songs don’t have.” James Carter said, ”This song is really fitting for this movie, as an interlude, it’s quite appropriate.”

Although Jillian Carter’s younger sister is the female lead over there, being in the industry himself, James Carter was well aware. Not to mention the differences in the filming script between the movie and the TV series, just the interlude in Jane Sampson’s hands could add significant value to the movie, coupled with an excellent team, James Carter could foresee the huge disparity in the market once both shows are broadcast.

If it were him, between the TV series and the movie, he would also choose to watch the movie.

Even if Jillian Carter plays the female lead in the TV series.

Especially after visiting the set today and seeing Jillian Carter’s lack of talent in acting, James Carter was even more...

Before leaving the crew over there, James Carter exerted a great deal of patience to suppress the urge to advise Jillian Carter to go home and not become an actor.
