Chapter 1625: Chapter 1633 Drink Some Water

James Black responded, then carried Jane Sampson downstairs. All the way down, the person in his arms was trembling.

Once downstairs, the nanny, without needing a word from James Black, quickly poured Jane Sampson a cup of warm boiled water, comforting her, ”Miss, please accept my condolences. Madam passed away without illness or pain, you need not be heartbroken. Madam always thought of Old Sir, and at the time of her passing, she had no worries about you and the Young Master. She left without any lingering attachments.”

The nanny sighed silently, vaguely understanding in her heart that it was precisely because she was reassured about Jane Sampson and Bright Sampton, her two grandchildren, that Madam lived without any attachments. So, with a sigh of relief, she peacefully followed Old Sir.

The nanny had been working in the house for over ten years, watching Old Sir and Madam live peacefully together without quarrels, never raising their voices. The nanny also knew that when Old Sir departed, he took half of Madam’s heart with him.

Madam’s remaining heart was concerned with her children.

Leaning against James Black’s chest, Jane Sampson quietly sobbed without moving. James Black placed the water cup by her lips, but she moved her face away.

”Come on, drink some water, or else your throat won’t be able to handle it,” James Black gently coaxed.

No matter how long Jane Sampson stayed quiet, James Black held the water cup that long until she lifted her head to drink. Only then did he quietly sigh in relief.

Just as she had drunk only half a glass of water, the other three members of the Sampton Family hurriedly arrived.

Father Sampton was truly travel-worn, and both Mother Sampton and Julie’s expressions were not good either.

Father Sampton’s expression was even more sorrowful and desperate than when Old Sir Sampton passed away.

He went to the Black Family home today, but didn’t even get past the main gate, let alone see Old Master Black himself.

So, Granny Sampson was his only hope.

Father Sampton thought in his heart that his mother was now angry with him and therefore not helping him. But since he was her biological son, once her anger subsided and he coaxed her, she would surely soften and help persuade Jane Sampson again.

But what Father Sampton didn’t expect, as he lingered at the Black Family’s gate entrance, was that Granny Sampson would quietly pass away just like that.

When Father Sampson entered and saw James Black holding Jane Sampson on the sofa, he wasn’t surprised. Granny Sampson adored Jane Sampson, so James Black also held respect for the two elders.

When Old Sir passed away, James Black personally came. With Granny Sampson’s passing, naturally, he would come too.

Father Sampson stood there and glanced at James Black a few times, opened his mouth wanting to say something, but ultimately refrained, and first went upstairs with his wife and daughter.

Surrounding neighbors also came upon hearing the news, and before long, relatives of the Sampton Family also arrived. With the help of relatives and neighbors, the Memorial Hall slowly took shape.

Rock Bell only found out about Granny Sampson’s passing the next morning.

The film crew of ”The President’s Wife is Not Human” heartlessly posted on Twitter late at night, informing netizens that they were terminating the contract with the entertainment studio because Jane Sampson had unreasonably refused to film and hadn’t shown up at the set for several days, severely delaying the filming progress. Therefore, the film crew would terminate the contract with Jane Sampson and would recast a suitable female lead.

The film crew posted on Twitter late at night, which Rock Bell was unaware of, until the next morning when her assistant woke her with a phone call, only then did she learn of the despicable actions the film crew of ”The President’s Wife is Not Human” had done overnight.

After half a night of escalation, now many netizens were condemning Jane Sampson for being unprofessional, irresponsible, and for acting like a diva, among other things.
