CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1285: Chapter 1293: Unexpected

James Black remained motionless throughout the whole process, allowing Jane Sampson’s hand to revolt in his pocket, well aware of Jane Sampson’s encroaching behavior, James Black naturally wouldn’t keep much there.

Chewing candy, Jane Sampson didn’t feel sleepy but found the traffic jam boring, so she took out her mobile phone from her pocket. As soon as she unlocked the phone, she saw a pop-up push notification on Twitter, which left Jane Sampson stunned.

Jillian Carter was really going all out, hosting a live streaming, pushing notifications on Twitter twice a day.

Casually, Jane Sampson clicked into the live stream for a glance and casually mentioned to James Black, who was driving next to her, ”I met Jillian Carter at the award ceremony that day, she is live streaming again tonight, everyone on the internet is saying she’s warming up to enter the acting business.”

”Who?” James Black, hearing the name Jillian Carter, found it familiar but couldn’t recall who she was for the moment. After asking, he then belatedly remembered that little interlude in King Town.

Jillian Carter, James Carter’s sister, a passerby he had once rescued.

But hearing James Black blurting out ’who,’ Jane Sampson couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

Shaking her head, she teased James Black, ”You really didn’t disappoint me.”

If Jillian Carter knew about it, heaven knows how heartbroken she would be.

James Black didn’t understand Jane Sampson’s teasing, ”A perfectly good reporter, why start live streaming?”

”Actually, I find it strange too, with the capabilities of Mr. Carter and Ms. Gwendolyn Young, Jillian Carter entering the entertainment industry doesn’t need to waste time live streaming. Wouldn’t it be better to do something more practical with that time?”

Muttering to herself, Jane Sampson entered Jillian Carter’s live broadcast channel.

Upon opening it, she saw the streaming screen paused on a display of H brand purses, Jane Sampson subconsciously said, ”Jillian Carter wouldn’t be working as a purchasing agent, right?”

After saying that, Jane Sampson laughed first, ”How could that be, haha.”

Looking closely again, upon recognizing the familiar saleswoman, Jane Sampson knew this was the H brand storefront at the New Century shopping mall.

Jane Sampson looked at the name of the live room and the comments from the fans, and after understanding what Jillian Carter was live streaming, Jane Sampson felt a bit speechless.

Sighing, Jane Sampson exited Jillian Carter’s live stream channel, thinking of James Carter, a man born under a lucky star, she couldn’t help but shake her head.

”What is she live streaming?” James Black, hearing Jane Sampson’s sigh, rare curious, asked further.

”You wouldn’t believe it, she’s live streaming herself capriciously shopping in various luxury stores.” Jane Sampson spread her hands and shrugged, just in the less than five minutes she peeked into the live stream, Jillian Carter tried a pair of shoes and a purse, asking her fans if they looked good.

Naturally, her fans praised their appearance, and then Jillian Carter immediately said she’d take the two items as well.

Yes, that’s right, she took them.

And the saleswoman standing next to her was already holding quite a few items.

Of course, this is Jillian Carter’s private matter, Jane Sampson had no position to comment on it.

After all, it’s Jillian Carter’s own money and it’s not someone else’s place to say if it’s right or wrong.

Strictly speaking, Jane Sampson herself when shopping in the mall was not much different from Jillian Carter, only she didn’t quite understand, practically speaking, how this daily shopping spree during live streaming would really help Jillian Carter in her future career in the entertainment industry?
