CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1237: Chapter 1245 Here is inside the car

”Let’s go.” After Jane Sampson raised the car window, she spoke to the driver in the driver’s seat without lifting her eyelids, then comfortably laid down on the rear seat and sighed.

Having been tense all night, it was super comfortable to lie down and relax in the rear seat.

Jane’s head rested against the back of the co-pilot seat, but since she was in a compact car today, she couldn’t fully stretch out her long legs. She lay there, pulled out her mobile phone from her purse, glanced at it, found no text messages or missed calls; even WhatsAPP was unusually quiet.

After looking at her mobile phone, Jane put it back in her purse and glanced outside the car window.

The car had already left the TV Station building’s parking lot and was driving on a street that wasn’t very bustling.

At nearly 11 o’clock, the roads had none of the daytime congestion of Capital Province. This was the TV station’s new building, located in a more remote area of Capital Province, but the site was large and the area wide, with roads extending in all directions. Hence, at this time, there were hardly any cars on the road, and pedestrians were even more scarce.

Jane’s gaze moved away from the car window and she unconsciously looked toward the driver’s seat, catching a glimpse of the driver’s back of the head. Just one look.

Jane’s eyes narrowed slightly.

This...

Jane suddenly sat up with a jolt, then leaned her head against the back of the co-pilot seat, her gaze intently fixed on the driver.

Jane stared at him for a few seconds without drawing his attention.

She pouted her lips, her delicate fingers poked gently but firmly on the shoulder of the person driving.

The person in front continued without any reaction.

Jane prodded him again. This time, she didn’t even retract her hand but kept it on the shoulder of the person driving.

”Can you stop the car for a moment~” Jane suddenly spoke up.

The driver then glanced at her through the mirror and slowly pulled the car over to the roadside.

After the car came to a stable stop, Jane threw herself toward the driver’s seat.

”James Black! James Black!” Jane, as if gone crazy, climbed toward the front driver’s seat with her arms and legs until she was about to crash into James Black’s arms; only then did she, with a rather awkward position, burst into laughter facing James.

James curved the corners of his mouth, finally raising his hand to touch her, who was pouncing like the Great General, without any trace of annoyance, moving the seat back to give Jane enough space to climb next to him.

Jane did not let James’s expectations down; she directly sat on his lap, wrapped her arms around his face, and planted a loud kiss on his cheek.

Her voice, ecstatic, ”When did you get back! Why didn’t you tell me in advance!”

”Just arrived a little while ago,” James patted Jane’s head, ”Don’t jump around; we’re inside the car. Be careful not to hit your head on the car top.”

In fact, he had gone straight to the Black Residence after returning to Capital Province. Knowing that Jane was attending the awards ceremony tonight, he had taken a bath at home and then went out, taking the place of Jane’s driver.

However, Jane’s assistant was unexpectedly thoughtful to James’s surprise.

Whether or not she might hurt her head was not a concern for Jane at the moment.

She just nestled her head in James’s arms, not caring about her hairstyle or whether the makeup on their faces would smear, bursting with happiness as if she were popcorn ready to explode.
