CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1055: Chapter 1063: Waiting for Me to Win the Movie Queen

Jane Sampson had not expected James Black to bring up this topic when he mentioned they should talk.

She looked up at him, blinked her eyes, and said, ”Don’t you think little children are especially noisy and annoying?”

”If it’s a child you give birth to, my tolerance could be very high,” James Black replied with a curved lip.

Seeing that Jane Sampson was pursing her lips and not speaking, James Black pinched her face, his tone somewhat helpless, ”I’m not rushing you, but you have to give me a timeline, so I know how long I have to wait.”

”Do you really like children that much?” Jane Sampson had truly not realized before her rebirth that James Black liked children; before her rebirth, until their dying days, they had never discussed having children.

He hadn’t wanted them, and neither had she.

Clearly, it was she who had come back through rebirth, but on the matter of children, it was James Black who had changed.

”Yes, I want a child of our own,” James Black added after a moment of thought, ”I’m very eager for one.”

Before Jane Sampson could inquire why, James Black answered on his own.

”Because I want to have a child to bind you to me, in case you become unhappy and think about a divorce again,” James Black said with a soft laugh, ”When the child is young and needs their dad, you’ll bring them to live with me in the guard team for a few days at a time. That way, I can see you often.”

James Black didn’t hide his ulterior motives at all.

Many seniors say, ”A child is the bond of a family,” and James Black thought it was time to strengthen that bond, to firmly tie him and Jane Sampson together.

Moreover, James Black truly did want a child with Jane Sampson, whether a boy or girl. Of course, if it was a girl just like her, that would be perfect.

Jane Sampson was stunned for a long time by this explanation.

”Give me a time frame, as long as I can wait, I will,” James Black gently patted the top of Jane Sampson’s head.

Jane Sampson shifted in James Black’s arms, thought for a moment, and then softly said, ”Wait until I win the Movie Queen title?”

Like her, even though she wasn’t much interested in stars, she knew who the Movie Queen and Movie King were and who had won the Movie Queen title in which year.

When she became the Movie Queen, she would surely become a household name, right?

”James Black, once I am the Movie Queen, let’s have a child,” Jane Sampson gave a very serious answer this time.

It wasn’t just because she was moved by his words about seeing her often, but more so because, deep down, Jane Sampson also wanted a child and wished to have a child with the man who was holding her at that moment.

He was so good; being his child would certainly be blissful.

In the future, when the child is born, he will be the daddy, and she will be the mother. She and he would surely give the child all their love and happiness as they grew up.

James Black had not expected Jane Sampson to give him an answer so quickly, and moreover, an answer so clear that he did not need to guess.

”Jane Sampson, you said it; once you become the Movie Queen, we’ll have a child,” James Black smiled cryptically, ”Remember what you said. I hope you keep your word by then.”

Jane Sampson nodded her head and hummed affirmatively in a very straightforward manner.

”Very good.” James Black expressed his pleasure and complimented Jane Sampson, ”Today, I am very happy.”

Saying this, James Black then lifted the person in his arms and carried her to the bath room, fulfilling her wish, to give her a comfortable bath.

Indeed, she was really tired, Jane Sampson only remembered being carried in by James Black, but couldn’t remember when she came out at all.
