CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 953: Chapter 961 I Will Never Agree

”But I have no dealings with the Forest family, nor with Kane Forest, but Jane Sampson has a good relationship with Kane Forest. Kane even spoke well of her on Twitter, and Alexander Forest and Quincy Forest also get along very well with her. If Jane Sampson could introduce Julie to Kane and give Julie more opportunities to meet him, and if Jane could help to bring them together more often, there might still be many chances.” This was the reason Father Sampton had Mother Sampton call Jane Sampson.

”Jane is a gentle person – if you speak kindly to her more often, she should have no problem helping you out,” Father Sampton said, ”When you and Julie go shopping tonight, also buy some food and necessities for Jane. She has been filming in the film and TV town these past few days. Each day at noon, have the aunt cook some of Jane’s favorite meals and send them to her by driver. Nurture your mother-daughter relationship well; even if she doesn’t agree tonight, bring it up again in a few days, and she will surely agree.”

”You want Julie to marry Kane Forest?” Mother Sampton’s voice suddenly rose, ”I will never agree! Kane Forest is so much older than Julie, I absolutely won’t agree!”

”A woman’s perspective.” Father Sampton slammed the water cup onto the table, his tone filled with endless disdain.

”James Black is also much older than Jane Sampson, but back then, you didn’t say you disagreed,” Father Sampton scoffed.

”Jane and James’s marriage was decided by you and your parents, do you think I agreed from the start?” Initially, Mother Sampton simply didn’t have the right to speak, after all, the decision was made by her parents-in-law in the house.

When Jane Sampson and James Black got engaged, Julie hadn’t been found yet, so at that time, Mother Sampton didn’t know that Jane Sampson was wrongly attributed and thus was really unwilling when she knew Elder Black and the parents-in-law were setting up Jane Sampson’s marriage.

But she had no right to speak, what could she do?

”If I remember correctly, Kane Forest is two years older than James Black. If Julie marries him, when they get older, Julie will have to take care of him for many years, I do not agree. My daughter had enough hardships as a child, I will not agree for her to struggle again when she is old,” Mother Sampton’s attitude was very firm.

”The Forest family isn’t lacking money, does your daughter need to serve anyone?” Father Sampton felt there was something wrong with his wife’s mind after hearing her words. The Forests are such a large family, not lacking in wealth; couldn’t they afford a nanny in the house? Does the wife still need to serve her husband?

He never asked his wife to serve him; weren’t all the housework done by a nanny in the house?

”The Forest family has money and status, if Julie marries into their family, her future days will only be merry,” Father Sampton said, ”Mom and Dad said, they want Julie to get married soon, she’s of age now, I think it’s time for her to marry. If you don’t agree with Kane Forest, that’s fine, but if mom and dad arrange any other blind dates for Julie later, don’t be upset. They’ve been in the countryside recently – what kind of people do you think they can find for Julie? Picky about this, picky about that, be careful or later on she might end up only being material for someone’s stepmother!”

Having said that, Father Sampton didn’t care about his wife’s expression anymore, ”I’ve spoken my part, it’s up to you to listen or not, to make the call or not, whoever Julie marries in the future, I won’t interfere, but if she marries someone I am not satisfied with, don’t even think about having a dime’s worth of dowry.”

Having said that, Father Sampton went directly upstairs, changed into a different set of clothes, and then walked out with a suitcase in hand after a while.
