CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 930: Chapter 938: Isn’t it quite good?

James Black thought that if it was that body lotion she had used, even if the domestic counter was sold out, he could still buy her a bunch from overseas.

Jane Sampson didn’t have mind-reading abilities, so naturally, she didn’t know what James Black was thinking at the moment.

The carefree Jane had already forgotten who it was that woke up yesterday morning, clutching their sore back and gritting their teeth, swearing to throw away the body lotion and vowing never to use it again.

However, man’s plans are no match for fate; Jane Sampson arrived at the shopping mall after her meal at just past two o’clock, but from a distance, while other counters were deserted, the one she was headed for was swamped with people.

Passing by her, girls carrying paper bags from the counter excitedly chatted with their best friends.

”We got here just in time,” they said. ”The miss at the counter told us if we were ten minutes later, the body lotion would have been sold out. She said ever since Goddess Sampson endorsed this body lotion, their sales have skyrocketed just because of it.”

”Of course,” they said. ”When Goddess Sampson says it’s good, many people follow suit and buy it. After purchasing it, they find it really is good. Everyone nudges each other to buy more, and like us, after coming here and learning about this brand, they would also buy other skincare products to try. Naturally, their sales would go up.”

”The little miss said we got the last two bottles, and because they’re running out of stock, they wouldn’t let us buy more. It’s such a pity.”

While the two girls talked, they passed by the very Goddess Sampson they spoke of, without the slightest clue.

Jane Sampson touched the mask on her face, shrugged her shoulders at James Black, and spread her hands, saying, ”Well, they’re out of stock here too, no point in staying. Let’s go home.”

”I’ll find someone to ship it to you from overseas,” James Black pat Jane Sampson’s head and said, as he led her straight out of the shopping mall.

On a weekend afternoon, there was more traffic than usual. Unfortunately, they hit a traffic jam, and it took them more than an hour to get home.

Once home, Jane Sampson slumped on the sofa, refusing to budge from the air conditioner, watching James Black boil water and brew tea, all she could think was, she admired him.

With such hot weather, who drinks tea? Wouldn’t it be nice to have an ice popsicle to cool off?

Too bad they had none at home.

Jane Sampson pouted and sighed. After giving it some thought, she went to the bedroom.

Seeing a post on Twitter about a brand of perfume, she remembered that there was an unopened bottle on the corner of her dressing table. If she wasn’t mistaken, it was a birthday gift from Nina Rice last year.

Since she had it, Jane thought she might as well open it up and use it, and also write a review on this perfume.

With the enthusiasm of her numerous fans, Jane had an idea in her mind. She wanted to share all the stuff she found useful with those lovely girls.

Once Jane Sampson decided to do something, she would do it with utmost seriousness.

She went through the effort of picking out a tablecloth and props for the perfume photo, and with her mobile phone, she managed to produce an advertising promotional image effect.

James Black in the living room drank tea for a while and didn’t see Jane Sampson come out, so he went into the bedroom.

As soon as he got to the door, he smelled a faint aroma coming from the bedroom. Seeing Jane Sampson on the bed, playing with her mobile phone with a bottle of perfume nearby, James Black knew the scent was that of the perfume.
