CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 900: Chapter 908: Checked Your Schedule

”That’s beyond my control now, I just liked a few things,” Jane Sampson shrugged, ”How things evolve from here is no longer my responsibility.”

Mona Calm, listening to how Jane Sampson had merely liked a few things, laughed with a trembling voice. With just a those few likes from Jane Sampson, the attention of the whole internet had been drawn to the matter.

After chatting for a while, they ended the call. Mona knew that Jane usually had a habit of taking a nap at noon, so she did not extend the conversation.

Meanwhile, Amber Edwards, who had been mentioned by Jane Sampson and Mona, wasn’t in such good spirits.

For two incidents had occurred consecutively in Capital Province, Chairman Edwards was too busy to come, but Amber’s cousin, the person in charge of the Capital Province branch office, had learned of the news, interrupted his business trip and rushed back overnight, giving Amber a thorough scolding.

After scolding Amber, Noah Edwards sought many connections, but, just as the company’s several managers and manager said, those people who were originally in good relations with the company were now avoiding them, some even not answering their calls.

Noah Edwards had to rely on many favors and sought help from old friends in Capital Province to mediate before he got wind of one sentence from someone.

”This person spoke very bluntly, saying you, Amber Edwards, had offended someone you shouldn’t have. It’s just a matter of one sentence for them to clean us up,” Noah Edwards tapped the glass table, ”I checked your recent schedule K, and the one you had a conflict with recently was an actor named Jane something.”

It was precisely because he found out about the conflict between Amber Edwards and the actor named Jane that Noah Edwards felt even angrier.

”It’s just a broken hairpin, and you go so crazy over it, insisting on snatching other people’s stuff? Do you think Capital Province is our small town? You want to act wildly here?” If it weren’t for the incident caused by Amber fighting over someone else’s hairpin, Noah Edwards wouldn’t have been this furious.

”I think your Elder Uncle has spoiled you till you’ve lost your mind!” Noah Edwards said coldly, ”I don’t care what method you use, but you need to go and apologize to her. Get her forgiveness.”

”Noah Edwards, Jane Sampson is just an actor; does she have such a big influence? I think it’s your company’s people who are incompetent! Or maybe, it’s you, Noah Edwards, who has offended someone,” Amber Edwards immediately swatted away the hand Noah Edwards was pointing at her, ”Why do you insist on pushing all the blame onto me? Your informants said that I, Amber Edwards, have offended someone, I think you just believe I’m easy to bully.”

”This actor has no connections yet debuted with such achievements? If she had no influential background, do you think she could have gotten along with James Carter so well? What’s James Carter’s status, you don’t know? Also, there’s Mr. Forest, Forest Clan Group; given our branch office’s current status in Capital Province, a Kane Forest wanting to crush us is as easy as turning his hand. Jane Sampson might be an actor, but she is a local in Capital Province with extensive connections. It would be a piece of cake for her to deal with you, to deal with our company.”

Tired of arguing further with Amber Edwards, Noah Edwards continued, ”It’s already been made very clear to me that it was you, Amber Edwards, who offended someone you shouldn’t have. If you don’t resolve this matter within today, then I will take this issue to the headquarters and let all the shareholders decide how to deal with it. If this impacts your father, the chairman, don’t blame me for not warning you!”
