CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 801: Chapter 809: Settle on Her

”Chief Black, take care.” Jane Sampson stepped back from James Black’s embrace, her eyes crinkling with mirth as she waved goodbye, ”Chief Black, make sure to visit often.”

James Black, who had already turned, glanced over his shoulder, ”Jane Sampson, are you asking for a cleanup again?”

Visit often?

This was his and her home!

The person owing a cleanup stood there giggling, shook her head, then scampered back to the bedroom, leaving James Black at the gate entrance to watch her retreating figure racing away.

”...” James Black’s mouth twitched, and a few seconds later, instead of getting angry, he chuckled, his eyes brimming with laughter as he closed the door and left home.

After dashing back to the bedroom, Jane Sampson selfishly claimed the king-size bed all to herself and caught up on sleep, not waking up naturally until 11 o’clock.

Once she woke up, Jane Sampson had a clear goal. She went straight to the shopping mall to pick up some stuff and then drove home with empty pockets.

For the rest of the morning, Jane Sampson mooched a meal from Rock Bell and then spent the entire afternoon at the company, listening to Rock and her discuss work.

Meanwhile, at Forest Family’s company, Kane Forest sat in a meeting, listening to his subordinates report on the latest work progress.

”President Forest, the new product is now ready to enter the publicity stage. The Advertising Department has provided two plans concerning the new product’s spokesperson. The department recommends several artists, and here are their profiles for your review, President Forest,” said a team leader from Area A Department, handing over the information to Kane Forest before continuing, ”We’ve reviewed several artists’ profiles and are a bit uncertain, we need your final say. We need one male and one female artist. For the female side, we have three choices. Two of them are new actresses, considered second-tier but almost first-tier in terms of popularity among the younger generation. There is also one more unconventional choice, Jane Sampson. She just debuted about half a year ago, and strictly speaking, her popularity does not compare to the other two artists, but we have examined her fan group.”

”How is it?” Kane spoke up, looking at a photo of Jane Sampson on the profile, his mind naturally conjuring the image of the girl who was clean-cut and sometimes had a smile like a little fox.

Honestly, Kane Forest had a good impression of Jane Sampson.

Not only because she was a friend of his sister Quincy Forest, but also because Jane Sampson was James Black’s wife.

Kane Forest was a businessman.

He knew more, and thus, he saw far more profoundly than his subordinates.

”Jane Sampson interacts with her fans frequently and can be considered as one of the female artists with personality and without any scandals. And, we’ve scrolled through Jane Sampson’s Twitter account and seen her posts. We found out that she holds a high positioning among her fans, seen almost as a rich and pretty woman who doesn’t lack money. Our new product targets the middle-class consumer group, so our team recommends Jane Sampson,” explained the team leader.

”If that’s the case, let’s settle on her for the female spokesperson. Have the relevant department negotiate with her agency as soon as possible. We don’t want her to have no availability later on,” said Kane Forest, staying quietly seated as he flipped through another set of profiles for potential male artists.

After reviewing them once, Kane thought about James Black’s temperament, frowned a bit, and said, ”These three male artists don’t meet my standards, change them.”
