CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 674: Chapter 682: Have You Urged?

Look how capable she’s gotten.

James Black glanced at the young wife sitting across from him, who was always a bit disorganized, and thought she needed a good talking-to, to teach her a lesson once and for all.

”Time to eat,” James Black said to Jane Sampson, his gaze telling her to behave.

Jane Sampson nodded repeatedly and started devouring her meal with her head bowed.

Good Lord, she was nearly scared to death.

After hanging up Jane Sampson’s phone call, Bright Sampton immediately phoned Mother Sampton. Hearing from Bright Sampton that Jane Sampson wasn’t pregnant, Mother Sampton felt both relieved and conflicted.

”Did you urge your sister? Did she say when they are planning to have children?” Mother Sampton worried again as she thought about how Jane Sampson had been married for many years without having any children, ”You get along well with your sister, she will listen to you. When you see her, have a good talk with her. Both she and James Black are not young, especially James Black; he’s quite a few years older than her. Men of James Black’s age are mostly daddies by now. Tell her not to be willful, and to start trying for a child with James Black sooner rather than later.”

”Mom, Sis and my brother-in-law can handle their own affairs. Not to mention that my sister is an adult, but speaking of my brother-in-law, with his temperament, can anyone else really decide on their married life? I think my sister and my brother-in-law are recently very much in love. When the love is strong, the child issue will naturally take its course. Let’s not rush and leave it to fate,” Bright Sampton genuinely believed that Jane Sampson was right in saying that although James Black was a few years older than her, there were still plenty of girls Jane Sampson’s age who weren’t even married yet.

Jane Sampson just married early, so she’s been urged to have children after a few years of marriage.

In Bright Sampton’s mind, compared to Julie Sampton, isn’t Jane Sampson doing much better? At least she’s married, and if she wanted to have a child, it could happen quite quickly.

Unlike Julie Sampton, who still hadn’t found a partner.

So many relatives in the house had introduced Julie to men, even their father had suggested some outstanding young men from the company, but Julie wouldn’t take a liking to any of them.

Bright Sampton thought Julie was just someone whose eyes were bigger than her stomach.

Julie liked to compare herself with Jane. Since Jane had married well into the Black Family, how could Julie stand to marry someone whose status was not as good as Jane’s?

But in reality, how many families in the Capital Province could surpass the Blacks in social status, and also have a son of the right age to marry? Besides, even if there were such families, they wouldn’t fancy the Samptons, a mere common merchant’s family.

After hearing what Bright Sampton said, Mother Sampton sighed softly, ”Alas, I don’t know whether not being pregnant is good or bad.”

With no pregnancy, Julie wouldn’t have to worry about the company shares going back into Jane Sampson’s hands, but at the heart of it, Mother Sampton was anxious for Jane, always feeling that a woman must have a child to secure her place in her husband’s family.

”Mom, why worry about this? I see my brother-in-law isn’t the kind who would abandon his family. Rest assured, my sister is such a wonderful girl. As long as my brother-in-law isn’t blind, he will treat my sister well,” Bright Sampton had an inexplicable trust in Jane Sampson, considering her the very best woman in the world.

So good, she even surpassed Mother Sampton in his heart.

When he was young and Mother Sampton was preoccupied with playing mahjong and shopping, he genuinely grew up trotting behind Jane, his elder sister. And Jane had been fierce and capable from a young age, the best at handling her younger brother Bright Sampton. But she was also genuinely heartfelt in her affection for him.
