CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 657: Chapter 665: You’re Causing Such a Ruckus

”Whatever makes you happy,” James Black didn’t hesitate for a second.

It’s just a few purses; his wife, Jane, surely could afford those things.

Jane Sampson lay there holding James Black’s arm, laughing like a little fool, while fretting, ”I also want several new collections from D’s, shoes, clothes, bags, they all look super nice, but if I buy all these, there might be no space left in the cloakroom.”

Jane thought, at this moment he should take back the card, right?

In this world, the scariest thing isn’t having a pillowside partner eyeing your money, nor is it easily logging into your mobile banking and meddling with all your funds. Instead, it’s what James does.

Tampering with your money but only using your own account to buy bank wealth management products, letting you see the money but not spend it!

Jane thought, this time she must use his card to make him anxious, and see if he ever dares to do such a mean thing again.

James considered the stuff in Jane’s cloakroom and deeply agreed that the house indeed would not be able to accommodate if Jane brought home all the things she liked.

So, after deep thought, he came up with a solution he thought was quite good.

”Then we’ll turn the guest room next door into your private cloakroom. It’s such a big room; it should be able to hold quite a lot of your stuff.”

This large flat was very spacious, but it was only divided into three rooms: a master bedroom, a guest room, and a study, so each room was very spacious.

This wasn’t what she expected at all.

Jane was stunned for a few seconds, then said subconsciously, ”If the guest room is turned into my cloakroom, when our child is born later, doesn’t that mean the baby will have no room?”

She asked this question purely on impulse.

Unexpectedly, James took it very seriously and started pondering.

A few seconds later, he responded.

”You’re already so much trouble, if our child turns out like you, definitely will be more troublesome. When you two troublemakers get together, by the time the child is born, if we don’t get a house with a courtyard, you two will probably tear down the entire house when I’m not paying attention, right?”

”When have I ever caused trouble!” Jane reflexively shot back.

After she defended herself, she quickly corrected, ”Pfft! Who’s ’we’? I’m not having a baby for you! You’re so annoying. If I had one just like you, with both of you ganging up to bother me, wouldn’t that cut my life short by several decades?”

Having said that, Jane turned her face slightly away, her ears warming up just a bit.

She was truly flustered by James Black, why on earth did she have to bring up the baby topic? It’s as if she really wanted to have his little baby.

Jane buried her face in James Black’s arm and suddenly asked again, ”I’ve bought so many things, you wouldn’t take them back if we ever got divorced, right? By then, many would have become limited editions, and I definitely wouldn’t want to give them back to you!”

”Jane Sampson,” James lifted her from underneath his arm, ”as long as I, James Black, am alive, you will sit securely as Mrs. Black for a lifetime.”

The way he said the last part had a bit of a through-gritted-teeth flavor to it.

”Don’t even think about divorce,” he stated.

With that, James simply turned off the electric light and held her tightly in his arms, not letting Jane budge an inch, ”Time to sleep!”
