CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 514: Chapter 522: How Could It Be a Bath Towel

The young team member took two photos before carefully putting away her mobile phone, ”Goddess Jane! We all really like you! You have to keep it up!”

After saying goodbye to the young team member, Jane Sampson headed straight to James Black’s dormitory.

James Black’s dormitory wasn’t far from her place, about a ten-minute walk. At this time, almost everyone had gone to rest. Jane made her way there, and when she reached the entrance to James Black’s dormitory, she didn’t encounter anyone. At the doorway, she saw a potted cactus standing on the balcony in the passage, and upon lifting it, sure enough, there was a key hidden underneath.

After opening the door, Jane Sampson placed the key on the cabinet near the door and immediately pulled out a pair of slippers from the shoe cabinet before walking in.

James Black’s dormitory was not small, comprising one master bedroom and one study, both with their doors closed.

Once inside, Jane began searching the living room, attempting to find the snacks Peter Gingery had mentioned. After looking around without success, she could only proceed to the kitchen.

Maybe because she felt like a thief, Jane didn’t think of turning on the lights as she came in. She opened the refrigerator and glanced at the stuff inside.

Raw eggs, tomatoes, and some withered green vegetables, Jane Sampson pursed her lips and shut the refrigerator door again.

Expecting a man who had been out for tasks for several days to have any food in his fridge was a fool’s dream!

Standing in the kitchen, Jane thought for a moment. Considering James’s character, he probably wouldn’t keep snacks in his study or bedroom. So, the snacks Peter had left with him were likely thrown out as trash by him.

Jane Sampson stomped her feet in frustration. What a wasteful old man!

So frustrating!

Looking up, Jane Sampson glanced towards James’s master bedroom, murmuring to herself.

Why not? Take a chance and check the master bedroom? If there’s nothing there, then I’ll just find his mobile phone and call Peter Gingery.

The mobile phone was definitely either in his study or his bedroom.

Jane Sampson walked straight towards the master bedroom, carelessly turning the handle and entering.

Little did she expect!

She had only taken two steps out when her waist was firmly grasped by a hand.

”Ow, ow, ow! It hurts!” Jane Sampson almost burst into tears instantly, her hands flailing at the person behind her pressing down on her.

And because of her cry of pain, the hand that had been moving towards her throat suddenly stopped.

”Jane Sampson?”

James Black’s voice came from the darkness.

”It’s me! It’s me! Let go quickly! My poor back! My back is about to be crushed!” Jane Sampson cried out in pain. Once she heard James’s voice, she couldn’t hold back her anger and started slapping his arm.

A click sounded from the wall, and the bedroom lamp instantly lit up.

James Black glanced down at the person he was holding, who was none other than Jane Sampson, dressed in the guard team’s training uniform.

”What are you doing here?” James Black asked, ”How did you get in?”

”I got in with that key, how else? Do you think I could have flown in?” Jane Sampson immediately got fiery, throwing whatever she had just been holding in her hand onto James’s face, ”Are you trying to kill me off to take a concubine?”

After throwing the object, Jane glanced at what had landed on James’s face and her lips twitched.

A bath towel?

Why would it be a bath towel?

Jane Sampson’s gaze slowly drifted from James’s face, covered by the bath towel, downwards, bit by bit.

”You old pervert! You old rascal! You’re actually streaking in public!” Jane Sampson quickly covered her eyes with her hands and turned her back, ”Hurry up and get dressed! Get dressed!”
