CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 498: Chapter 506: Comparing the Two

According to Jane Sampson’s wishes, even if the money was donated, she would definitely not give it to the likes of that blogger.

Before that, the blogger had never encountered such tough Public Relations. With the release of the chat history screenshots, all statements about Jane Sampson naturally seemed like a deliberate frame-up for money.

So, this incident that initially stirred up a storm actually didn’t cause any substantial harm to Jane Sampson at all.

On the contrary, Rock Bell’s Public Relations skills and response capabilities were definitely top-notch within the circle.

As the event came to an end, Rock Bell secured an unauthorized crowd for Jane Sampson, unexpectedly starting a topic about apologizing to Goddess Sampton.

Moreover, after the tweet that Jane Sampson previously posted by herself, the netizens unexpectedly found that Jane’s genuine personality was also very likable.

When angry, she knew how to counter attack in style—either impeccably elegant to infuriate others without a trace of guilt or with justifiable arguments.

The last contact Jane Sampson had with Elizabeth King was the text message sent by King before Jane boarded the plane from Springtown back to Capital Province, and the final investigation from the company confirmed that the incident indeed had nothing to do with King.

As Rock Bell said, Elizabeth King had been transferred to another department, and as for what she was doing now, Jane Sampson did not pay much attention.

”Your new assistant is pretty good,” Harry Humming praised Jane Sampson’s new assistant for the umpteenth time, ”She might look a bit plump and unimpressive, but she’s hardworking and conscientious.”

Being both assistants to Jane Sampson, comparisons were inevitable, but after weighing up, Jane’s new assistant, Coco Edwards, definitely came out on top.

”I think so too,” Jane Sampson nodded. Having spent a few days with Coco, Jane truly couldn’t find any flaws in her.

Coco was lively and got along with everyone. She was a bit chubby and not as attractive as King, nor did she possess King’s temperament, but she was an especially meticulous girl who took very good care of Jane in every aspect.

”Elizabeth King...,” Jane considered, then said, ”Isn’t malicious at heart but rather too calculative. Although she was an assistant, she wasn’t content with just that role; she wanted to step into this circle too, so she kept trying by following the most naive approach.”

King’s method was to cling to Mandy Forest, the Movie Queen, in the hopes of securing an opportunity from Forest once they became familiar with each other.

But in reality, even as a Movie Queen, Mandy Forest had no solid relationship with someone else’s assistant. Why would Forest give King an opportunity out of the blue?

Just because King was good at flattering?

If Jane Sampson was naïve, then within this circle, Elizabeth King was so simple as to be foolish.

Yet despite her foolishness, she never did anything bad, and her foolishness was the kind that made people reluctant to treat her too harshly.

This was also the reason why, after the blog that slandered her appeared, Jane Sampson brought up the topic of sucking up to Mandy Forest but did not implicate Elizabeth King.

Compared to King, what Jane Sampson cared more about was who, upon knowing that King had been replaced, immediately contacted the blogger to vigorously blacken her name.

King mentioned to the company that many people from the film crew knew about her being replaced by Jane Sampson because she left the village with the film crew’s assistance, so the news of Jane changing assistants couldn’t be kept a secret.
