Chapter 1205: Chapter 1204: Lab Rats

Excluding ventilation ducts, the ’Factory’ has a total of three entrances and exits, each heavily guarded, especially during such a special period now. To prevent saboteurs from escaping, not only are the entrances and exits more strictly defended, but the ventilation ducts will also be sealed.

So whether Luo Yirui will suffocate, no one knows, but Dad told him absolutely do not go through the ventilation ducts anymore.

Where is Dad, he won’t be in trouble, right?

Luo Yirui remembered when the communication was cut, there seemed to be gunfire over there, which made him somewhat worried.

Their location should be at the very southern end of the ’Factory,’ belonging to the top-secret area, which is also the most strictly defended area.

So they are very unfortunate; a wrong step could lead to being trapped like fish in a barrel...

”Where do we go now?” Little Fatty looked at the empty corridor around them, with transparent glass rooms on both sides that were individual research labs, but there was not a single person inside at the moment.

Luo Yirui identified the direction, contemplating in his heart that none of the three exits seems feasible, so how could they get out of here?

”Little Rui, why aren’t you speaking? Hurry and think of a way! We’re trapped here; no need for anyone to catch us, we’ll starve to death in two days!” Little Fatty pondered the terrifying possibility.

Luo Yirui gave him a glance in annoyance, ”Starve to death in two days? That’d be you... Wait a moment!”

He suddenly remembered that in the direction he explored yesterday, there are supplies stored, and importantly, the supplies have a dedicated entrance!

The fourth entrance!

The supplies entrance is a small door; though it’s called a small door, it’s not that small, as trucks can pass through it without issue. It’s remote, so the defense there is relatively weak.

”We’ll go through the fourth door!” Luo Yirui immediately had a direction, heading northeast.

The entrance over there is exactly opposite the direction to the castle, but as long as he can get out, there will be a way to return to the castle. He no longer worries about leaving the castle because Dad and Mom are both there.

To say it straightforwardly, this is a powerful alliance!

So, as long as he can return to Mom’s side, he can leave here!

Luo Yirui doesn’t know that Luo Xudong is already moving swiftly in his direction, leaving other matters to Chen Jinliang and Li Yunfeng.

Luo Yirui finds the place he thinks is the most strictly guarded but now empty, which makes him a bit uneasy.

”We need to be careful,” Luo Yirui softly reminded Little Fatty.

Little Fatty nodded nervously; he was already being exceptionally cautious. The emptiness here was somewhat eerie, as if everyone had suddenly left.

”Do you think it’s an emergency evacuation?” Little Fatty asked.

Luo Yirui shook his head; through the large glass, he could see important documents were all inside, and he tried several research labs, all were locked tight, so it’s impossible it’s an evacuation.

”Then why do you think?” Little Fatty grew increasingly anxious.

Many scenes flashed in Luo Yirui’s mind: Director Ma with a knowing look, completely overlooking them as the ’little mice.’ Why?

Since Fu Xuan Ge has already fallen into their hands, it shows they knew someone was investigating this place long ago, so there’s no way they wouldn’t have any defenses. This could only mean they’ve already set up a trap, waiting for them to walk into it.

If he guessed correctly, perhaps only they and the other kids in the lab are left here now.

Luo Yirui’s eyes darkened; suddenly he understood this is an experiment, and they are the lab mice!
