Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 1092: Chapter 646: Who’s Chasing Whom

”Sister Ye’er, I miss you so much!” As soon as the call connected, Luoyang’s playful voice came through, with a hint of tears.

”Yangyang, Sister Ye’er misses you too. This time going to Island City, it was too rushed, so we couldn’t meet. You’re not mad at Sister Ye’er, are you?” Luo Ye sighed silently, pretending not to know anything. The young girl was sensitive, and her psychological tolerance was low, she couldn’t dare to take risks.

”I know Sister Ye’er is busy, how could I blame you.” Luoyang sniffled, ”Sister Ye’er, I want to apply to GF University next year. Will you welcome me?”

Luo Ye was momentarily stunned and quickly said, ”Of course I’ll welcome you, as long as Yangyang is prepared to endure some hardship, that’s all.”

There was a brief silence on the other end of the phone.

Luo Ye cleared her throat: ”Yangyang, did you fall asleep?”

”Sister Ye’er, you’re so annoying.” Sure enough, Luoyang laughed, ”I was just thinking, how could I have fallen asleep?” After a pause, ”Sister Ye’er... I have something I want to tell you.”

”Go ahead.”

”Did my brother call Sister Ye’er?” There was hesitation in Luoyang’s voice.

”Yes.” Luo Ye didn’t want to lie.

”What did my brother say to Sister Ye’er?”

”Yangyang, what are your thoughts?” Since the question was asked, Luo Ye didn’t want to beat around the bush, she truly considered these siblings her friends and sincerely wished them well.

Luoyang’s feelings for Luo Shui were fundamentally different from Lisha Alice’s feelings for Monique, so she wouldn’t hold prejudice against Luoyang because of this forbidden love. In other words, if she really had any prejudice, she wouldn’t have interacted with Luoyang before.

”Sister Ye’er, I know I’m wrong, but I just can’t control my feelings. I once tried hard to like other boys, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t do it.

To be honest, tonight when my brother told me he had met Sister Ye’er, I said I especially hoped Sister Ye’er could be my sister-in-law.

I wasn’t joking when I said that, currently, the only girl I can accept as my sister-in-law is Sister Ye’er.

Of course, I know Sister Ye’er can’t possibly like my brother. Sister Ye’er, don’t misunderstand; I’m not saying this because I know Sister Ye’er doesn’t like my brother. I truly think that way...”

Luo Ye sighed softly, interrupting the incoherent Luoyang: ”Yangyang, I understand what you mean, no need to explain.”

”Sister Ye’er, do you look down on me?” asked Luoyang nervously.

”I won’t.” Luo Ye answered affirmatively, ”When your brother called me, he also expressed his dilemma. He loves you, but it’s a paternal brotherly love. He doesn’t want to hurt you even a bit, so he’s conflicted.

At the time my response was, your sibling relationship is too special. As an outsider, I can’t persuade or judge, and moreover, for this kind of affection, I don’t have the right to say who’s right or wrong; it’s just a special affection formed in a special environment.

Yangyang, since you called me and voluntarily mentioned this, it means you trust me, right?”

”Yes, I’m afraid to tell Mom and Dad about this, but I feel so bottled up, so after thinking it over, I had to call Sister Ye’er.”

”Since you trust me, take my advice and try to divert your attention from Luo Shui. Try not to view other boys with bias.

You’re only seventeen, and your thoughts may be more mature than a typical seventeen-year-old, but still not mature enough to handle everything.

So, for now, don’t be in a hurry to declare anything lifelong. Don’t get stuck in a rut. Give yourself a chance, and give others a chance. Maybe one day you’ll discover that Luo Shui is just your dearest brother, not the man to accompany you for life!”

”I... will try.” Luoyang sighed lightly, ”Now, I kind of regret it. When I left brother’s room earlier, I said harsh words.

At that moment, I was just angry at my brother’s attitude, not really thinking of suicide..., Sister Ye’er, tell me, does my brother have a girl he likes?”

”Yangyang...”

”Sister Ye’er, don’t misunderstand. I’m not deliberately trying to get something out of you. I genuinely want my brother to be happy. Although I said the only one I can accept is Sister Ye’er, that doesn’t mean I won’t accept another girl as my sister-in-law in the future.
