Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Yu Na gave the other party a sidelong glance, her face expressionless. ”That’s right, I am the instructor’s apprentice, but let me tell you, during the selection, how she treats you guys, she will definitely treat me the same way, or even more harshly.

I used to hate the instructor, thinking she was heartless, but over time I understood that she wanted me to succeed. For you guys, I believe she has the same mentality. I won’t tattle, but whether you appreciate it or not is up to you.”

The chatter in the vehicle gradually subsided, and everyone began to ponder with their thoughts.

”Screech!” The vehicle suddenly stopped.

The assistant instructor came to the back of the vehicle and called out, ”Grab your gear, get off the vehicle immediately!”

The trainees jumped off the vehicle looking at each other, finding themselves in an empty wasteland, with a forest to the front-left and the wilderness stretching on to the right, with a village shadow faintly visible in the far distance.

”Quickly form two lines!” shouted the assistant instructor.

The trainees hurriedly shifted their gaze back and lined up in confusion.

Hang Menglin and Ye Mo stepped down from the off-road Jeep and approached the trainee line.

The assistant instructor saluted Ye Mo, ”Report to the head instructor, the formation is complete!”

”At ease!”

”Yes!”

The assistant instructor returned to the front of the line and commanded, ”At ease!” and then stepped aside.

The tall figure of Ye Mo stepped forward twice, standing in front of the line, with some female trainees inevitably showing a hint of obsession in their eyes. Hang Menglin snickered and turned her head away, feeling very uncomfortable with the decision that Ye Mo should lead and she should assist.

Ye Mo scanned the group and almost roared, ”The final selection training starts right now. The rules for the finals differ from the initial selection; from the very start, some trainees will face elimination.

The elimination will continue until only 16 trainees remain. It will then stop, but what you’ll continue to face is even harder training. If you regret it, now is the time. If you shout to quit, you’ll be included in the elimination quota. Does anyone want to quit?”

The group fell silent.

Ye Mo nodded, ”Very good, then the selection starts now. Everyone should have their equipment ready; trek through the forest on foot, and five kilometers forward is our secret training base for this enclosed camp. Everything has been prepared there for you.

Of course, en route to the secret base, Instructor Hang, I, and a bunch of assistant instructors, will do everything possible to catch you all.

The first three trainees to be caught will be eliminated, while the ones who make it to the destination without being caught will have a chance to retry the next time an elimination occurs. Ready, set, go!”

As Ye Mo’s voice fell, the trainees dashed out.

”There must be many instructors ambushing in the woods. We three mustn’t get separated,” Xing Nong murmured while running.

Luo Ye looked back and instructed, ”You two stick close to me. If the pace feels too fast, just say something.” Zhan Hao Liu Xing Wu Zetian also gathered, ”Together as a team, we’re stronger than any individual.”

Zhan Hao glanced ahead, ”Someone’s already been caught. Looks like we can’t avoid a tough fight. Luo Ye, you and I, Liu Xing, are relatively the strongest here. So here’s the plan: you take care of Xing Nong, I’ll take care of Yaoguang, and Liu Xing will take care of Wu Zetian. If the team gets scattered, pairs must stay together.”

”No problem!” They all replied in unison.
