Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

”Mr. Lin, six or four, we are six from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, and you are four from the Air Force.”

”This order was negotiated throughout the process by our 077 Mechanical Military Factory with the Saudi Arabian State in the Camel Region.”

”When the time comes, the upgrade and construction of the H-6 modified bomber will be completed by our 077 Mechanical Military Factory, and your Air Force will make money without doing anything.”

Lin Chenran once again gave his conditions.

”No problem. I agree to your terms on behalf of the Air Force.”

After thinking for a moment, Mr. Lin agreed.

The Yan Country Air Force can make money without doing anything, so why not do it!

He wished there were more good things like this.

……

When the car carrying a group of senior leaders of the Yan Country Air Force disappeared from his sight, Lin Chenran breathed a sigh of relief.

Then he quickly turned back to his office, sat down at his neat desk, and began to draft a telegram to Abdul, the Saudi representative in the Camel region.

The content of the telegram was concise and clear: ”Do you want a medium bomber?”

At this time, thousands of miles away in the camel region of Saudi Arabia, Abdul was busy dealing with the affairs at hand.

Suddenly, a crisp ring broke the silence in the office.

He looked up and saw his secretary hurried in with a telegram from Yan Country that he had just received.

Abdul took the telegram and read it carefully.

When he saw the inquiry about medium bombers, his eyes lit up.

As an experienced and cautious representative, he did not make a decision immediately.

Instead, he picked up the phone immediately, dialed his superior’s number, and reported the situation in detail.

After a short wait, Abdul finally received instructions from his superiors - to go to Yan Country to personally inspect the bomber mentioned by Lin Chenran.

Because for the Saudi Arabia in the Camel region, possessing advanced medium and larger bombers has always been one of the important goals in their national defense construction.

However, the current international situation is complex and changeable, and the sales of medium and larger bombers are strictly restricted by various countries. Even if you have money, you may not be able to buy them easily.

So this opportunity is particularly precious.

So, he gave orders without hesitation and organized a delegation composed of technical experts, military advisers and relevant officials, preparing to take a special plane to Yan State.

Not long after, a large passenger plane with the flag of the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region took off from the airport runway and flew towards the distant Yan Kingdom.

Inside the cabin, Abdul and other representatives were enthusiastically discussing the upcoming meeting, with everyone’s face filled with a mixture of anticipation and nervousness.
