In the afternoon, sunlight poured through the windows into the spacious and bright conference room, making people’s faces warm, but at this moment, no one present had time to feel the warmth and leisure.

The important meeting in the afternoon is about to continue.

As time went by, representatives from major domestic shipyards walked into the conference room one after another. After they found their seats and sat down, the scene gradually became quiet.

At this time, Mr. Zhang, who was sitting in the chairman’s seat, said calmly, ”Dear colleagues, the design plan for the frigate has been finalized after in-depth discussion and evaluation within our navy.”

Upon hearing this, the senior executives of the domestic shipyards all showed anticipation and nervousness on their faces.

The anticipation is greater than the nervousness!

But what Mr. Zhang said next made the expectations on their faces disappear without a trace.

Mr. Zhang continued, ”Since we still need to wait for the final approval and consent of our superiors, the specific results cannot be announced to everyone for the time being.”

As soon as these words were spoken, many domestic shipyard executives present couldn’t help but frown, and their expressions looked somewhat solemn.

The disappointment is beyond words!
Obviously, no one expected that the Navy would choose to temporarily conceal which shipyard’s frigate design successfully won the bid.

A number of Yan country shipyards:
”Bah! How shameless!”

”We’ve whetted our appetite, and this is the result we’re waiting for?”

”Is it so as not to affect the selection of subsequent cruiser design proposals?”

Faced with a powerful navy, the shipyard executives are well aware that ”a small hand cannot twist a big hand” and no amount of complaints will help.

Therefore, they had to suppress their unhappiness and try to calm themselves down. After all, there was a more difficult task waiting for them - introducing their own cruiser design.

You know, the frigate design competition just now was just an appetizer, and the real highlight was the subsequent cruiser design competition.

These two types of warships are completely not on the same level. Whether in terms of technical difficulty, performance requirements or strategic significance, cruisers are far superior to frigates.

Therefore, for each shipyard, whether it can stand out in the competition of cruiser design will be directly related to its future position and development prospects in the field of naval equipment.

Thinking of this, everyone’s fighting spirit was rekindled, ready to go all out to meet the next challenge.

At this moment, Lin Chenran’s mouth corners slightly raised, with a faint smile on his face, and his eyes calmly scanned the different expressions of the domestic shipyard executives present.

His eyes seemed to carry a different kind of profound meaning, as if silently saying, ”Please start your performance.”

He knew very well that the top leaders of the Yan State Navy would never directly announce in this meeting which shipyard had successfully won the Yan State Navy’s frigate order.

If the answer is revealed so early, it will inevitably have a huge impact on the bidding for subsequent cruiser design plans.

Mr. Zhang, who was sitting at the front, was observing the changes in facial expressions of everyone present with a serious and earnest look on his face.

Sure enough, the scene before his eyes was exactly what he had expected!
Mr. Zhang said without hesitation, ”Next, please continue to draw your numbers, and then go on stage one by one to explain the cruiser design plan of your shipyard.”

Due to the tight time schedule and heavy workload, the many domestic shipyards present could not afford to complain or hesitate in the slightest.

Mr. Zhang made a prompt decision and issued this unquestionable order.

At the same time, Lin Chenran quickly turned his head to look at Pan Xueming beside him and nodded slightly to him.

After receiving Lin Chenran’s instructions, Pan Xueming’s eyes were determined and without any hesitation, he took a deep breath, and then took steady and powerful steps, rushing towards the drawing place as fast as a meteor across the sky.

Every step was full of determination and confidence. At the same time, the top executives of other shipyards also sent their trusted personnel to the lottery.
