Chapter 183 077 Mechanical Military Factory also wants to develop third-generation fighter jetsChapter 183 077 Mechanical Military Factory also wants to develop third-generation fighter jets (export version)

Everyone came to the spacious and bright conference room, talking and laughing.

After everyone was seated, Lin Chenran slowly said, ”Thank you very much to the J-10 fighter design and development team for coming to our 077 Mechanical Military Factory.”

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a burst of warm applause in the conference room, like thunder.

Song Wen, the head of the J-10 fighter design and development team, who was sitting nearby, quickly stood up and responded with gratitude: ”Thank you for the full support from the 077 Machinery Military Factory, especially for helping us modify the design plan of the J-10 fighter.”

He then continued: ”And now we have successfully obtained the AL-31FN turbofan engine technology and related production lines from the Russian bear. This will undoubtedly reduce the difficulty of designing and developing our J-10 fighter by several levels.”

In terms of power output, the 077 Machinery Military Factory has successfully solved the problem. Now the J-10 fighter can directly use the AL-31FN turbofan engine as a powerful power source.

This turbofan engine is already quite mature, and the J-10 fighter can directly apply its advanced technology without the need for tedious research and development work.

”Everything is for the birth of the country’s third-generation fighter jets!”

Lin Chenran waved his hand and spoke indifferently.

”Yes, everything is for the birth of the country’s third-generation fighter jets and to enhance national defense security.”

Song Wen nodded repeatedly. He agreed with what Lin Chenran said.

”General Lin, although it may be a little abrupt, we still want to leave a group of people to your 077 Mechanical Military Factory to record the various data of the AL-31FN turbofan engine. This will make it easier to apply this data to the research and development and improvement of the J-10 fighter.”

Song Wen’s tone was a little low, and it was obvious that he felt a little embarrassed about this request.

This involves the confidentiality of the AL-31FN turbofan engine and will also disrupt the normal work of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Lin Chenran smiled and nodded to show his understanding.

He was well aware of the importance of the J-10 fighter jet to the country’s aviation industry, and also understood the difficulties of Song Wen and others.

So, he answered without hesitation: ”Chief Engineer Song Wen, no problem, we are all working for the birth of the J-10 fighter.”

Hearing Lin Chenran agree so readily, Song Wen and others secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Although they, as members of the J-10 fighter’s design and development team, have a high status and reputation, they are still somewhat uneasy when facing the military giant of the 077 Machinery Arsenal.

The 077 Machinery Military Factory has become one of the largest military industrial enterprises in the country, with its scale and strength far exceeding that of other military industrial enterprises.

Even the Chengfei military-industrial enterprise to which the J-10 fighter jet design and development team belongs can hardly compare with the 077 Machinery Military Factory.

Compared with the two, one is like heaven and the other is like earth.

Song Wen also heard that the 077 Mechanical Military Factory was preparing to enter the aerospace field.

Isn’t that just competing for jobs with Chengfei Military Industry Enterprise?

……

After receiving the J-10 fighter design and development team, Lin Chenran sat in the spacious and bright office and discussed an important issue with Song Xiyun - whether his own 077 Mechanical Military Factory should design a third-generation fighter.

Lin Chenran said thoughtfully: ”This third-generation fighter is mainly used for export.”

Song Xiyun couldn’t help but wonder after hearing this, and asked, ”We design and develop third-generation fighter jets?”

”And also for export?”

He was somewhat surprised by the idea, but at the same time he admired his factory director’s creative idea.

The company’s own 077 Mechanical Military Factory does have the ability to design and develop a third-generation fighter.

They have many third-generation fighter technologies, and by integrating these technologies, they can easily create an export version of the third-generation fighter.
