Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 175 The historic explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plantChapter 175: Going down in history - the Chernobyl nuclear power plant explosion
Lin Chenran asked the two groups to communicate with each other and coordinate their work.

Afterwards, the top management of the 077 Machinery Military Factory abroad contacted the persons in charge of the trade routes who had just arrived.

This ensures smooth information sharing and cooperation between the two parties.

It helps improve efficiency and avoids misunderstandings or delays caused by miscommunication.

In addition, this also provided first-hand information to the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory who had arrived, so that they could be fully prepared for the upcoming trade between Yan Country and the Russian Bear.

……

As time went by, a week passed.

Time passes quietly!

Due to the special nature of the AL-31FN turbofan engine, the bigwigs behind Kovlevich who supported him were unable to make a decision for a while.

This engine has excellent performance, especially in terms of power output.

It makes the newly-born third-generation fighter Su-27 even more powerful, and equips it with strong combat capability and flight performance.

Kovlevich and other people behind the scenes are well aware of the importance of this engine. Once Lin Chenran brings it back to Yan Country, it is likely to fall into the hands of Yan Country’s military, thereby enhancing Yan Country’s military strength.

Therefore, Kovlevich and the forces behind him need to carefully weigh the pros and cons.

……

April 26th is a day that is destined to become a significant part of human history and will also shock the world.

Because on this day, something unimaginable happened: the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear power plant that the Russian bear began to build in 1973 and officially put into use in 1977, actually experienced an earth-shattering explosion!

This accident is recognized as one of the most serious nuclear power disasters in history, and it was the first time that it was rated as a major accident at level seven, the highest level, on the International Nuclear Event Scale.

Major nuclear power accidents have undoubtedly attracted widespread attention from around the world.

This night is destined to be a sleepless night!
The Russian army quickly entered level one combat readiness!
Even the Far East Fleet was not spared!
Due to the catastrophic explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the country, the order in the country of the bear will undergo a drastic change.

Those former opposition forces will inevitably revive and further disrupt domestic order.

The Russian top brass must take decisive action and order the military to enter a level one combat readiness state to prevent any possible troublemakers, opponents, etc. from plotting behind the scenes.

……

At this moment, a rapid knock on the door suddenly sounded, as if to wake up the whole world.

Lin Chenran, who was sleeping soundly, vaguely heard the knock on the door, but he was so tired that he woke up slowly after a long time.

He rubbed his bloodshot eyes, trying to wake himself up, then dragged his dazed body towards the door step by step.

When he walked to the door, he looked out through the ”peephole”, trying to see what was happening outside.

Lin Chenran saw the staff of his own 077 Mechanical Arsenal standing outside the door, with anxious and nervous expressions on their faces.

And among them stood a man - Kovlevich.

Kovlevich’s face was pale and his eyes revealed an unconcealable fear.

“Could it be.”

A thought flashed through Lin Chenran’s mind: ”The Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded?”

This is a parallel world, and many things are different from the history he is familiar with.

Although he had a hunch before, he couldn’t help but start guessing now.

He was not sure whether in this parallel world, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant would explode as he remembered.

Regardless, he was fully prepared.

Even if the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant did not explode in the end, it would not bring much loss to Lin Chenran. If the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant really exploded, then their preparations would play a huge role and they could earn huge profits.

Lin Chenran then opened his door, invited Kovlevich and others into the room, and asked about the situation.

”Kovlevich, what brings you here so late?”

”Is there any result in the previous discussion about the AL-31FN turbofan engine?”

Lin Chenran asked with a smile.
