Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

And displayed some preliminary research results and design drawings.

Abdul and other Saudi representatives in the Camel region listened attentively to Wang Shicun’s introduction, their eyes fixed on the simple design drawing of the Chinook heavy helicopter in front of them.

When they saw the appearance and performance parameters of the helicopter, excitement lit up their eyes.

”This is exactly the equipment we have always dreamed of!” Abdul said excitedly.

Other representatives also expressed their agreement.

They believe that this heavy helicopter will greatly enhance Saudi Arabia’s military capabilities and strategic position in the Camel region.

Especially when facing security threats and emergencies in the surrounding areas, such helicopters can respond quickly and take action.

”We very much look forward to working with you to jointly advance the development of this project,” Abdul said enthusiastically.

Lin Chenran responded with a smile: ”We very much welcome Saudi Arabia from Luotuo Region to participate in this project. We believe that through the efforts of both sides, satisfactory results can be achieved.”

077 Mechanical Arsenal needs funds!
In the Camel region, Saudi Arabia needs a number of Chinook heavy helicopters to maintain its own national security.

The two sides then had an in-depth discussion on further details of cooperation, including technical exchanges, personnel training, and production base construction.

Representatives of Saudi Arabia in the Camel region expressed their willingness to provide the necessary resources and support to ensure the smooth progress of the project.

In the initial stage, they will provide 077 million US dollars in research and development funds for the 1.5 Mechanical Military Factory. If financial support is still needed in the later stage, the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region is also willing to continue to support it.

In return, the 077 Mechanical Military Factory only needs to copy the Chinook heavy helicopter and sell it to the Saudi Arabian Kingdom in the Camel region, and also provide the other party with subsequent factory construction, technical support, etc.

During the discussion, both parties fully expressed their respective opinions and needs and finally reached a consensus.

This not only marks an important step in the cooperation between the 077 Machinery Arsenal and Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region, but also lays a solid foundation for future development.

When both parties signed the contract, Wang Shicun and Yao Zhicheng on the side were both shocked!

They never imagined that their own factory could so easily find a ”financial sponsor” to support their research and development.

Yao Zhicheng, in particular, was very surprised by the generous behavior of the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel area, because such a situation was almost impossible to happen in the Shenfei Military Factory.

In other words, it cannot be seen in the third-line military factories in the country.

Many of Yan’s third-line military factories are now half-dead.

The 077 Mechanical Military Factory is an ”alternative” in Yan Country.

After watching the Saudi representatives from the Camel area leave the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, Lin Chenran and others returned to the conference room.

Lin Chenran explained to Yao Zhicheng: ”Mr. Yao, the Osprey transport aircraft needs to be kept secret for the time being, and we cannot reach a cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the Camel region.”

He continued: ”The funding will certainly not be less than the Chinook heavy helicopter program, I can assure you of that.”
