Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 121: Traveling Through the Heavens: Coming to the World of Pacific RimChapter 121: Traveling Through the Heavens: Coming to the World of Pacific Rim
Time flies, and in the blink of an eye a week has passed.

During this period, various countries interested in purchasing sent representatives to the Yan Country 077 Mechanical Military Factory to conduct on-site inspections and learn about the Apocalypse tank.

The representatives showed great interest in the Apocalypse tank displayed by the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, but were not very satisfied with its price.

It turns out that the price of this batch of Apocalypse tanks is 5% higher than the previous purchase by Saudi Arabia in the Camel region. Representatives of many countries find this price unacceptable.

The high cost will deter them.

Representatives of some countries chose to give up cooperation with the 077 Machinery Arsenal.

Faced with this situation, Lin Chenran showed an open-minded and tolerant attitude.

He took the initiative to recommend the Type 617 tanks produced by the brother tank factory, the 80 Mechanical Arsenal, to representatives of countries that could not accept the high price.

Although this tank does not have the indestructible armor defense capability of the Apocalypse Tank, as a second-generation main battle tank, it still has strong combat capability.

The Type 80 tank has a significant price advantage over other second-generation main battle tanks.

It is not only inexpensive, but also sturdy and durable, has powerful firepower, and its armor protection level can reach quasi-first-class standards.

The unbeatable price-performance ratio attracted many representatives who did not purchase the Apocalypse Tank.

So the representatives of these countries turned their attention to the 617 Mechanical Arsenal and began to negotiate with the factory to discuss the next steps of cooperation.

……

Lin Chenran’s generosity made Mr. Zhu from the 617 Mechanical Arms Factory call him repeatedly to express his gratitude: ”You are worthy of being the God of Wealth. You brought so many orders to our 617 Mechanical Arms Factory in a short time.”

Lin Chenran thought it was no big deal.

Since some countries are unable to purchase Apocalypse tanks, we will recommend customers to the 617 Mechanical Arsenal.

There is an old saying: ”Meat is best cooked in the pot!”

Prevent fertilizer and water from flowing out.

Since there is no money to purchase the Apocalypse tanks from the 077 Mechanical Armament Factory, then go and purchase the Type 617 tanks from the 80 Mechanical Armament Factory.

Lin Chenran’s decision was very wise.

Through clever arrangements, he not only met the needs of various countries, but also promoted the development of domestic mechanical military factories, achieving a win-win situation.

Anyway, the military sales procurement funds of these countries cannot leave Yan Country.

……

When the 077 Mechanical Military Factory signed several contracts to purchase Apocalypse tanks with several countries, a familiar mechanical voice suddenly sounded in Lin Chenran’s mind.

Lin Chenran smiled slightly and thought to himself: ”Sure enough, the system reward is here!”

[Ding Dong! Congratulations to the host for the great success of the Apocalypse Tank designed and developed by the host in the military sales market, with cumulative sales reaching 500 million US dollars. You will be rewarded with a chance to travel through the heavens.]

To Lin Chenran, the mechanical sound of the system sounded like the beautiful sound of nature.

Every reminder is a generous reward.

This made him feel extremely excited and thrilled.

This is really cool!!!

Lin Chenran couldn’t wait to use this opportunity to travel through the universe.

Then he quickly gave instructions to his assistant Xiao Liang, telling him that he needed to think about the problem quietly in the office.

Don’t bother yourself no matter what happens.

If there is an emergency, you can ask Mr. Song for help first.

Although Xiao Liang was very confused about the factory director’s request, he carried out the order without hesitation.

Lin Chenran excitedly locked his office, then shouted to the air excitedly: ”System, use the opportunity to travel through the heavens!” As he spoke, he rubbed his hands together, his eyes flashing with anticipation, as if he couldn’t wait to plunge into the adventure of traveling through the heavens, to experience the customs and cultures of different worlds and to trade various magical items.
