Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Then, they saw flames rising up around the Apocalypse tank, thick smoke billowing up, and dust was also stirred up in the air. Compared with the 125mm smoothbore gun of the previous Apocalypse tank, the 2mm smoothbore gun of the Leopard 120 tank seemed a bit inferior.

The senior military leaders of Yan State all remained very calm and just watched everything quietly.

It wasn’t long before the test results were revealed.

Even though the Leopard 2 tank fired armor-piercing shells at such a close distance, it still could not break through the frontal defense of the Apocalypse tank.

The armor-piercing bullet only leaves a relatively shallow crater on the front.

”This……”

”That……”

Although Abdul and others had seen the test of basalt special steel before.

However, when they witnessed with their own eyes the Apocalypse tank withstanding the bombardment of the Leopard 2 tank’s 120mm caliber armor-piercing shells, they could not help but reveal a look of surprise.

Their eyes were filled with disbelief and shock.

The Leopard 2 tank is the second-generation main battle tank of the Hans country, and its armor-piercing shells are extremely powerful.

It is really shocking that the Apocalypse Tank was able to withstand such a powerful attack unscathed.

Then, Abdul asked Salman to continue giving instructions to his drivers to shoot in different directions of the Apocalypse tanks.

He wanted to see the limits of the Apocalypse Tank.

As soon as the order was given, the Leopard 2 tank quickly took action.

Continuously fire multiple armor-piercing shells at the test Apocalypse tank.

Until all the armor-piercing bullets in the inner chamber are fired.

At this time, everyone was anxiously waiting for the result.

The top executives of the 077 Machinery Military Factory also showed anxiety on their faces, but when they saw their factory director looking at the explosion site calmly.

Their hearts also settled down.

The backbone was not panicked, and other senior executives also began to calm down and suppress their inner anxiety.

”Lin, I see that you look calm and you seem to be very confident in the Apocalypse Tank.”

Abdul turned around and saw Lin Chenran staring at the explosion area in front of him calmly with a telescope, without any tension on his face.

”Abdul, of course I have confidence in our own Apocalypse tank.”

Lin Chenran put down the telescope, turned around and said to Abdul with a smile.

Then, Lin Chenran continued: ”Before, the 100mm thick Xuanwu special steel could withstand the bombardment of the 72mm smoothbore gun of the T125 tank.”

”The main weapon of the Leopard 2 tank is now a 120mm smoothbore gun. Although the difference is only 5mm in size, the difference in power is huge.”

”Also, the Apocalypse tank is covered with special basalt steel, and the lowest part is 150mm thick. It is still a bit difficult for the Leopard 2 tank to penetrate it, unless...”

Upon hearing this, Abdul’s curiosity instantly exploded. He wanted to hear what Lin Chenran said after ”unless”.

”Unless the tank driver can aim at the 150mm armor thickness of the Apocalypse Tank and fire multiple armor-piercing shells in succession, it will be possible to penetrate the defense of the Apocalypse Tank and cause damage to the tank.”

Lin Chenran continued.

The probability is too small!

In a rapidly changing battlefield, it is impossible to hit the same spot continuously.
