Rebirth: The Courtyard Bride Is Cool and Radiant

Chapter 639: Chapter 639: Some Things Must Be Made Clear in Advance

Yunyi watched the woman leave, then called out to the outside, ”Next, please.”

Luo Qiushuang heard the call and pushed her second brother, Luo Qiuxi, in. She first handed over her brother’s medical records and various previous examination reports: ”Doctor Chu, these are my second brother’s previous examination results from various hospitals.”

Yunyi took them, gestured for her to sit on the bench opposite, carefully reviewed the examination results, and then looked at Luo Qiuxi: ”Reach out your hand, I’ll check your pulse.”

After checking one hand, she gestured for Luo Qiushuang to switch to the other hand, then stood up to examine his leg: ”Have you had any treatment for this leg in the past six months?”

Luo Qiuxi shook his head and said, ”Since we came back from Beijing last time, I haven’t had any treatment, but my sister massages my leg every day.”

Yunyi nodded and said, ”Hmm, the care has been good, at least there is no muscle atrophy.”

After speaking, she stood up, walked to the clothes rack, took a packet of silver needles from her small bag, and looked at Luo Qiushuang beside her: ”Roll up his pants leg for me.”

Hearing Yunyi’s words, Luo Qiushuang quickly squatted down to help her second brother roll up the pants leg.

Yunyi squatted down, picked up the silver needles, and punctured them into various acupuncture points: ”Let me know if you feel any pain.”

The first few needles, Luo Qiuxi felt nothing, and his mood plummeted. He wouldn’t have wanted to come if it weren’t for his sister persuading him. After all, he had been disappointed too many times, and he couldn’t hold much hope for such a young doctor.

But he couldn’t resist his sister’s persistence and wanted to give himself one last chance, so he agreed.

It seemed, he thought, that he was hoping for too much.

Just as he was about to speak up, he suddenly felt pain and incredulously looked up at the source of the pain, ”It hurts, there was pain just now.”

Clearly, Yunyi was not surprised: ”Leg nerve necrosis is indeed difficult to treat, but it’s not impossible.”

Upon hearing this, Luo Qiushuang said excitedly, ”Doctor Chu, no matter what it takes, as long as my second brother’s leg can be healed, we will fully cooperate.”

Yunyi had a good impression of Luo Qiushuang as a sister: ”I can indeed treat his leg, but it will take some time. Apart from using my specially made ointment, acupuncture and subsequent rehabilitation training will be necessary. It will take at least a year to see results.

And if you give up midway, the effectiveness of any subsequent treatment will be significantly reduced. You need to think it through carefully if you want to treat it or not?”

These things must be made clear in advance to prevent any thoughts of giving up if results aren’t seen in a month or two, which would waste her time and effort.

Luo Qiushuang didn’t hesitate at all: ”Treat, as long as there’s hope, even if there’s only a one percent chance, we’ll treat. Doctor Chu, don’t worry, my second brother’s leg is my future task. Even if it takes ten years to heal, I will do my utmost.”

After all, her second brother became like this to save her two children.

After her brother’s leg was injured, the engagement he had agreed upon was called off, so he became her responsibility. Of course, she hoped he could recover, but if there was no way, then as his sister, she would take care of him.

Luo Qiuxi knew that his sister felt guilty, but it really wasn’t their nephews’ fault that day; it was just a coincidence. No matter how he explained, his sister insisted on her belief.

In fact, Luo Qiushuang deliberately played dumb. Anyway, her brother did save her two children. As long as she stood firm, her in-laws could have no objections to how she took care of her brother in the future.
