If he stays here, not to mention that this attraction will become stronger and stronger, but it will also attract a large number of other strange beasts, which is enough for him to drink a pot.

”Um...wait, what is that?” Just when Cody turned around and was about to leave, his eyes were suddenly attracted by a flash of green surrounding the strange beast he had just killed.

”The fruit of life evolution?” Cody looked at the new plant in confusion, ”It came out so easily? Impossible. I have killed less than a thousand strange beasts in total these days. According to the data, even if they are low-level The fruit of evolution would require at least tens of thousands of strange beasts to die, right?”

”Could it be that many strange beasts had died in this area before I came, and I was just lucky enough to catch them?” Cody guessed, ”No matter how it came about, it was just luck that I encountered it. I definitely didn’t You might miss this great opportunity.”

Cody immediately stopped preparing to leave and found a relatively hidden corner nearby to hide, waiting for the plant to mature.

According to the information of Virtual Universe Company, this plant that can grow the fruit of life evolution only takes less than ten days from birth to maturity, and he can definitely afford to wait.

What he needs to consider is not to have an unusually powerful beast arrive during this period of time. After all, with Cody’s current strength, he cannot run rampant in this world of mountains and seas.

In addition, you must pay attention to suppressing the instinctive desire for life in your heart. As the plant approaches maturity, a large number of strange beasts will inevitably be attracted to this area, and those strange beasts will definitely fight each other. .

The special energy generated by their fighting with each other will not only further accelerate the maturity of the plants, but it will also increase the fatal attraction for Cody.

”Roar--”

Less than 10 minutes after Cody found a place to hide, a strange beast was attracted. It immediately discovered the huge corpse of the strange beast on the ground and chose to devour it without hesitation.

This alien beast is not that strong, with a body length of less than 500 meters. It lies on the corpse of the giant alien beast and gnaws on it, just like a hyena gnawing on an elephant.

”Pong!”

The alien beast suddenly exploded with a loud roar.

”It turns out that this is the scene of the failure of swallowing evolution.” In the dark, Cody looked at this scene and marveled.

He also understood from the information provided by the Virtual Universe Company that there was a chance of failure to directly devour the flesh and blood of other alien beasts to evolve, and the greater the genetic level gap between the two, the higher the chance of failure.

The alien beast just now was not even one-tenth the body length of the dead alien beast, indicating that the genetic level gap between them was at least ten times greater.

Such a huge gap not only makes the fatal attraction so great that it cannot resist, but also makes the success rate of devouring evolution so low that it is appallingly low.

Following the alien beast that failed to evolve, more alien beasts came here one after another, but the quality was not very high, and none was even more than a kilometer long.

However, there was an alien beast with extremely high luck value among them. After devouring the flesh and blood of the huge alien beast, it actually evolved successfully, and its size grew to more than 2000 meters in length visible to the naked eye.

After the evolution was successful, the alien beast did not continue to devour the flesh and blood on the ground, but it also did not choose to leave. It lay down next to the strange plant in a grand manner, and it seemed that it also knew that the plant could bear the evolution of life. The fruit.

But it is obvious that even if it evolves successfully once, it still does not have the strength to possess this magical plant.

On the fifth day, Cody hid in the dark and saw with his own eyes that it was killed by a strange beast with a body length of more than 4000 meters, and then its flesh and blood was completely devoured.

Powerful beasts devour weak beasts. Although the probability of failure is almost negligible, the probability of them benefiting from it is also negligible.
