Chapter 767: The Ability To Alter The ’Order’ of the ’Universe’. Part-1.

Inside the Demon King’s artificial realm, True Paradise.

”It seems you’ve worked it all out much quicker than I was expecting you to... maybe this is also the influence of ’him’...”

”You are right, my ’World Authority’ has its limits just like everyone else, but Ashtel Rex, you seem to not understand one thing...”

”I know my weaknesses better than you, and I am always prepared for the times when someone targets them...”

[World Authority: True Paradise!]

[Destination Point: Dream of Invincibility: Expansion!]

The massive artificial realm created through ’True Paradise’ was already massive because of how powerful Ashtel Rex’s sea of consciousness was.

But now that the Demon King was also going to attack, his sea of consciousness also merged into the realm of ’True Paradise,’ thus expanding the realm even further.

Moreover, the demon king used his world authority to expand the realm to such levels that the consciousness embedded in the realm would be expanded by hundreds of thousands of times compared to before.

”When highly concentrated, it’s easier for the consciousness to break and loose more, but when expanded, the consciousness will also expand...”

Hearing those words, Ashtel realized what the demon king was trying to do.

’He’s minimizing the damage that he would need to take by expanding the sea of consciousness and diluting the damage by making the area bigger...’

Earlier, when Ashtel attacked, his attacks created massive cracks in the artificial realm that spread for hundreds of meters.

The realm was smaller at that moment, and thus the damage ratio was higher when compared to the size of the realm.

But now that the realm was hundreds of thousands of kilometers wide, the damage ratio sustained by the realm would be much lower if Ashtel launched the same attacks again.

’This way not only he effectively diluted my attack power, gave a boost to himself and made my plan to sit still ineffective too...’

Although ’True Paradise’ was a double-edged sword and would harm the demon king just as much as it would harm Ashtel, it was still a world authority belonging to the demon king after all.

The damage caused by the demon king’s attack would result in a less effective rebound for himself when compared to Ashtel.

’The True Paradise will give him a stat boost, will suppress my attack power and will keep interfering with my skill usage to amplify the rebound I would suffer from my own attacks...’

’Also... there’s this darkened hue on the ground...’

Ashtel grabbed a handful of sand and realized that after the demon king imbued his consciousness into the artificial realm, the density of miasma had increased.

’He’s purposely using a corner of his consciousness that is less important to him to fight and forcing me to fight in a memory fragment that is more important to me... how cunning...’

With a smile on his face, Ashtel stood up from the ground and patted the dust off his hands, tilting his neck slightly as he looked straight into the eyes of the demon king.

”You have decided to bet your own life on the line by putting your consciousness in this artificial real... If I don’t fight you now, it would be disrespectful of me...”

”Come, LET’S KILL EACH OTHER!!!!”

[Word Authority: Shockwave!]

[Sage Art: Torn Fabric: Cracked Moon!]

Ashtel stomped the ground, bending the space-time fabric so much that it cracked apart just from a simple stop, and launched himself at the demon king with speed so fast that it was faster than light itself!

Seeing this, the Demon King smiled and opened his arms wide.

”COME! ASHTEL REX!! I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO KILL YOU FOR A LONG TIME NOW!!!! COME!! LET’S KILL EACH OTHER!!! AHAHAHAHAH!!!”

[Golden Heart Martial Art: Dream of Nirvana: Equal Temperance!]

Ashtel raised his arm above his shoulder and copped down with a karate chop like attack, but the force of that attack was so immense the very fabric of reality started breaking apart.

And as if completely ignoring Ashtel’s attack, the Demon King didn’t even take a defensive position; instead of defending, he replied with a fist aimed straight towards Ashtel’s chest!

*BOOOOOOM!!!* *CRACCCKK!!!* *SHATTERRRR!!*

The shoulder bones of the Demon King cracked as his entire body was smashed into the ground by the immense force of Ashtel’s chop attack.

Ashtel, on the other hand, was blown away hundreds of kilometers by the fist that landed straight on his chest and had his ribs fractured!
