Mythical Professions are all my employees

Everyone looked at each other.

This has never happened before!
The entire leadership of a combat division was wiped out?
The captain, who didn’t believe the Divine Descent Cult had taken action, was about to say something.

Zhao Yu took a deep breath and said in a deep voice, ”This is a provocation from the Divine Descent Sect. I propose that... Advisor Chen temporarily assume the role of acting director. Report the matter to the United Front Work Department, and we will make further decisions after receiving the order from the United Front Work Department.”

After saying this, he looked into the Combat Division.

There, a man stood silently.

Everyone looked over subconsciously.

A moment later, a buzz of discussion arose.

”Advisor Chen...it seems he’s the most qualified person in the department to temporarily assume the position of director.”

”Yes, Consultant Chen should have been promoted to deputy bureau chief nine years ago, but he didn’t have a real position, so he was temporarily appointed as a consultant... Come to think of it, this has been delayed for so long...”

After they discussed it for a while, someone spoke up: ”I second that.”

Everyone turned to look and saw yet another captain-level figure.

Both captains seconded the motion.

The two captains, still somewhat hesitant, exchanged a glance, finally nodded, and looked at ’Advisor Chen’: ”Advisor Chen, with this kind of situation arising in the department, only you can take charge...”

Consultant Chen didn’t speak; he just looked at Zhao Yu, and then at the captain who spoke last.

fell into silence.

After a long while, he let out a long sigh.

“I understand… Alright, from this moment on, I will temporarily assume the role of director. Of course, this is only temporary. Once the United Front Work Department issues its order, I will step down and hand over the position to a more capable person.”

As he said this, he stared at Captain Zhao Yu.

Captain Zhao Yu remained expressionless and respectfully asked, ”Director Chen, what should we do next?”

”Next step……”

Recalling the events of last night, Chen Xiang calmly said, ”Gather everyone. I want all the Shenlin cultists in Shiping City... to die!”

Upon hearing this, almost all the members of the Combat Division had their eyes light up.

I immediately sensed the difference between Consultant Chen and Director Luo from before!

...Director Luo would never issue or say such a thing!
The Divine Descent Cult dares to provoke the Combat Division...

Then let them all die!
”Yes!!”

Many members of the combat command stood at attention and accepted the order.

Then, the entire combat division sprang into action.

……

”What on earth happened?! Why was the position of head instructor exposed?!”

”No, I don’t know! And what’s even more troublesome is... Just now, news came from the Combat Department that four bureau chiefs from the department were killed in the incident. The Combat Department is in chaos now. Chen Xiang has temporarily taken over as bureau chief and has issued a kill order against us!”

”What?! Chen Xiang?! That madman?!”

The man’s expression changed drastically; he had clearly heard of the name.

”What do we do now?” the other person asked in a low voice.

”We can’t get in touch with any of the high priests?”

”Cannot get in touch...”

”That……”

Just then, a loud roar suddenly rang out, and everyone in the room looked over at the same time.

Someone rushed in in a panic: ”It’s terrible! The outside is full of people from the Combat Division! They’ve surrounded us!”

”what?!”

”How did they find this place?!”

The people inside the room were clearly shocked.

”You rats of the Divine Descent Cult, your death is near.”

The sounds coming from outside turned their faces instantly pale.

”escape!”

”Escape separately!”

Without any hesitation, they fled frantically.

……

Shiping City was in complete chaos that day.

All sorts of rumors are flying around.

Even in the cities, a major battle broke out!

It left people speechless.

The chaos continued into the evening before finally subsiding.

Many parts of the city have been damaged.

Some citizens were even affected and died.

……

Chen Xiang, the newly appointed ’acting director,’ did not appear at any of the places he was supposed to be at when it got dark. Instead, he appeared on the roof of a tall building.

On the rooftop, a figure was looking down.

”You...did all of this?”

Chen Xiang looked at the other person’s back and asked with a calm gaze.

”Director Chen, do you still need to ask? Didn’t I make it very clear to you yesterday?”
