I Live on the Land in Global Games

The invitation from Mazi City, however, was unexpected.

Maz truly was a spell research fanatic. If Mu Ying felt there was another lord in any territory who could travel across mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas to build Transmission Arrays as quickly as she could, it would be Maz.

The mage’s magic was the richest, with many means; it was normal for a trialist to have long-distance travel methods.

But his post seemed to convey no desire to spend time traveling far to build Transmission Arrays.

Being willing to collaborate with all territories was open to all comers.

And choosing to only share costs by half also indicated they still had some savings; speaking openly without rejection, they must have at least 4500 Gold Coins in savings.

It was a wealthy territory as well.

So here they were, wealthy and capable, yet completely lacking any proactive strategy to compete with other territories.

Mu Ying now understood even more profoundly Maz’s fanatic dedication to research and disregard for external affairs.

Perhaps for him, the rewards from the city-level territory competition were less appealing than a fresh spell!

Under this reply post, many people from Maz Town expressed their frustration openly.

But this was a great thing for Mu Ying, meaning one more collaborator and one less competitor.

Perhaps such pure-hearted individuals could go further in their professional paths. After all, he deserved to devote all his energy to studying and researching magic, needing his concubines only when he wanted to relax and decompress — who were, in fact, the real managers of the territory.

Mu Ying admired his dedication and obsession with magic, but she couldn’t agree with his private life. However, it was a consensual affair, and since he gave those women enough and there was no coercion, she wouldn’t comment further.

All in all, working together was still very beneficial.

With these two replies, Mu Ying immediately had her next plan; she intended to first go to Canter Town, then to Mazi City.

In terms of distance, Mazi City was farther; it required a sea crossing. For Canter Town, she could teleport directly to the Su Mu Camp near the border of the Xia Country region and continue north, reaching into the Bear Country territory in no time.

She packed some supplies and was ready to set off that day.

Now, Sky Square no longer had the Territory Notice Board, but instead, various Transmission Arrays.

Wanting to keep the Cross-Regional Transfer Array separate from the internal long-distance Transmission Arrays, she had rebuilt a dual-level transmission plaza, placing the smaller cross-regional arrays on the upper level and the larger, later-to-be-expanded regional long-distance arrays on the lower level.

After setting this up, she stepped onto the transmission array to Su Mu Camp.

During this period, the traffic from various camps to Qingshan City was still quite high, with several groups arriving daily, but very few went from Qingshan City to the lower camps.

Unable to gather a group, Mu Ying chose to teleport alone.

In a moment of dizziness, she moved from the autumn of Qingshan City to the already-winter in Su Mu Camp.
