Chapter 127: Chapter 123: A Draw (Over 4000 words)_2However, since their heights were similar but their builds were not, Clo used some strips of cloth to pad the driver’s clothing, making himself look somewhat bulkier.

Jiang Shu also walked to the restroom entrance and headed towards the first-floor lobby, where from a distance, he saw several Prison Guards moving large boxes containing drugs from the truck.

Four Prison Guards, four boxes, two trailers.

Jiang Shu estimated that the space inside the transport vehicle could only accommodate four large boxes, meaning the Prison Guards would only need to make one trip.

He waited for a while, and the Prison Guards didn’t return, so he started walking towards the transport vehicle.

The journey was smooth, calm sea and gentle wind.

Then, Jiang Shu heard some noise behind him; he turned back to see the ”driver” leaving the restroom, head slightly bowed, quickly catching up.

From a distance, Clo’s disguise was nothing short of perfect.

Both sat in the transport vehicle, Kro driving, while Jiang Shu got into the transport compartment at the rear.

”Is there one more box?” Jiang Shu looked at a box inside the vehicle, a standard transport container.

Perhaps it was overlooked?

The transport vehicle started, moving slowly towards the entrance of the Special Prison.

Jiang Shu didn’t close the doors of the rear compartment; they were left ajar, and he could see outside through the crack, quietly waiting for the right moment.

Soon, the vehicle stopped, which according to Clo, was for a routine check at the inspection station.

He quickly hid behind a black cloth, the door to the compartment opened, and two Prison Guards who saw Jiang Shu inside revealed knowing grins before they climbed aboard.

Were the Prison Guards coming along too?

Jiang Shu frowned.

This was something Clo had concealed from him, and it required him to alter his plan.

The transport vehicle started again, the large gates of the Special Prison were opened in advance by the two Prison Guards, and everything proceeded according to the plan as described by Clo.

The two Prison Guards inside the vehicle looked relaxed, soon to be leaving their dreary post, ready to take on the identity of wealthy noblemen in some far-off district.

Derivative Entry·Three Noes Hypnosis!

But suddenly, Jiang Shu used ”Three No Hypnosis” on them, and the two Prison Guards slumped down on the floor.

”Phew—” Jiang Shu took a deep breath, shaking off the unique dizziness that came from using his psychic powers.

Hypnotizing two mentally alert Prison Guards took less energy than it would have if Kro had been mentally exhausted.

That was also a piece of information; the energy drained by hypnosis seemed to be linked to the target’s Gradient, but Clo lacked a Gradient...

Immediately, Jiang Shu crouched down, placed his hands on the shoulders of the two Prison Guards, making them look straight at him, then he promptly issued commands, ”Relax, relax, sleep!”

The two Prison Guards were quite receptive to hypnosis, and they promptly fell into a deep slumber.

”Good, now you’ll still be able to hear what I say, until I snap my fingers a second time,” Jiang Shu spoke swiftly, the unexpected change in plans forcing him to hurry, ”Remember, it was Clo who escaped, and I was taken hostage by him, and you were knocked out trying to rescue me. Now, forget everything I’ve done.”

He snapped his fingers once, setting a psychic anchor for the hypnosis.

Such a hasty hypnosis session, lacking thorough checking and deep guidance, might not be very effective, but there was no choice now.

If Clo hadn’t brought these two Prison Guards, he could have finished everything and then slowly altered memories at the inspection station.

But clearly, that wasn’t an option now.

He then walked to the front of the rear compartment and used a Black Card to slice through the metal of the compartment; he breached the barrier between the rear transport section and the front cab, behind which was the driver’s seat occupied by Clo.

”Jiang Shu?” Clo turned around, saw Jiang Shu holding the Black Card, and exclaimed, ”You?”

”Taking you back,” Jiang Shu shrugged, which had been his intention from the start.

He added, ”If you’re not willing, you’ll likely end up accidentally dying in a prison break.”

His tone was even, but the threat was clear.

”So that’s your plan...” Clo squinted slightly, observing Jiang Shu in the rearview mirror, ”Are you deceiving me?”
