I’m really just an NPC

However, encountering mutant mice again and again made Lin Fan suspicious.

He stared at the mutated mouse’s red eyes carefully, recalled the big and small plots he had experienced when the game was first launched, and frowned: ”Could it be that a rat wave is going to break out here?”

Rat swarms are very dangerous. Even in the smallest rat swarm, the rat kings are all F-rank monsters. Lin Fan is not even a quasi-warrior now, and he is very likely to die when encountering a rat swarm.

Gollum~
hungry!
”Don’t worry about it, eat meat first. If there is a rat wave, the consortium in the inner city will not ignore it. Naturally, the F-level monsters will be dealt with by the consortium’s land fighters. I happen to have ordinary monsters to collect experience.”

Unable to resist the scorching heat in his stomach, Lin Fan pushed the door open with the mouse.

The door was so broken that Lin Fan was even worried that it would fall down if pushed.

Inside the door is a courtyard. In this era, the land is worthless, and it is your own if you surround it.So the yard of Lin Fan’s house is quite spacious, and even a few rows of vegetables are planted in the yard.

There is only one room in the yard, which is very dilapidated and small.

Lin Fan locked the courtyard door from the inside, walked a few steps quickly, and opened the door inside.

With the moonlight, Lin Fan could see clearly the inside and outside of this dilapidated house at a glance.

A table, a cabinet, a bed, and a few bricks under a black pot in the corner.

This is Lin Fan’s ”home”, a room shared by a bedroom and a kitchen.

”It’s really embarrassing, but this is the living conditions of ordinary people in this era.”

Huhu~
Lin Fan followed his memory to find the lighter and lit it. By the way, he put the lighter into the storage space, and blew two breaths on the fire to make the fire more vigorous and act as a light source.

Then, he took out a short knife from behind the cabinet.

[You get a white non-level weapon: ”Iron Short Knife” x1]

The weapons and armor in ”Rise of the Wasteland” are divided into non-graded, F-level, E-level, ..., SSS-level, the level represents the strength of the weapon and armor material itself, and can cause considerable damage to monsters of the same level or below. damage or effective defense.

The color of the weapon or armor represents its rarity and quality, divided into ”white, green, blue, purple and orange”, white has no attributes, and orange has the best attributes.

Holding this short knife, Lin Fan skillfully disemboweled the mutated mouse and stripped off its fur.

Yo, this mouse is still a female.

bang bang bang~
Finding a wooden board to support, Lin Fan directly chopped off the head and tail of the mouse, leaving the limbs and lean meat behind, chopped it into pieces with a short knife, and put it in the pot.

A large jug was pulled out from under the bed, and it was filled with potable water.

When ”Wasteland Game” was first tested, potable water was a scarce resource. Generally speaking, only the deep underground water pumped out could become pollution-free potable water after several purification processes.

Of course, some mountain springs in deep mountains and old forests can be directly drunk, but ordinary people neither dare nor have the ability to go there to get water to drink.

It is precisely because of the water that the living space of human beings is greatly restricted. In the entire Seablue Planet, human beings are no longer the masters.

It wasn’t until some time after the public beta of ”Rise of the Wasteland” that a law tide occurred, inexplicably purifying the global environment, and drinking water became more abundant. Gradually, ordinary rivers and streams became drinkable.

Coupled with the joining and development of hundreds of thousands of players, human beings began to shine again on Seablue Star.

Goooooooo~
Lin Fan poured a sufficient amount of water into the pot, and then supported the cauldron on bricks and drove it onto the fire.

He threw the kettle aside, and there was not much water left in it.

He found a piece of salt from the cabinet, threw the salt into the pot, and covered the pot. Lin Fan moved a wooden block and sat down by the fire, staring at the steaming cauldron in a daze.

Thoughts diverged unconsciously, Lin Fan became angrier as he thought about it: ”Why the hell did I just time travel!?”
