interstellar chief prosecutor

Chapter 114 Double Dragon Playing Pearl

Interstellar Conference, the highest-level parliament in the Republic. There are a total of [-] seats, and a regular meeting is held every year.Outside the regular meeting, an interstellar meeting needs to be applied by more than three senior councilors and approved by more than one-third of the seat owners. At this time, the people who appeared in the virtual venue one after another almost all showed surprised expressions on their faces.

”Your Excellency, what is going on here?”

Some MPs protested loudly: ”The meeting was called suddenly, why didn’t we get any news before?”

Many people complained about this, but the speaker, Barmer himself, didn’t know the situation at all. When the secretary notified the Interstellar Conference to approve the application and to hold it temporarily, he himself was still lying in the gentle village. How could he figure out the truth of the matter. But the fact that your Excellency the Speaker doesn’t understand doesn’t mean that everyone doesn’t understand.

Different from the panic of most of the congressmen present, there were some people who sat in their seats leisurely and seemed not at all surprised by the progress of the matter.Barmer cast his eyes on one of them and said, ”Maybe Justice Morrissey can explain the current situation for us?”

The gray-haired Morrissey smiled when he heard the words: ”Why don’t you ask the person who called the parliament?”

It was only then that Bamer, who arrived late, noticed that at the other end of the virtual meeting place, the figure that appeared in the center of everyone’s sight.

You Yisi’s eyes were clear, and he didn’t flinch from everyone’s gaze. Facing Bammer’s gaze, he nodded slightly: ”Good night, Your Excellency, Speaker, I’m sorry to disturb you so late.”

”You are...” Bamer’s throat was a little dry.

”The No. 40 descendant of the ’Wanxing’ family is Yisi, and I have met you all.” The three-dimensional virtual figure leaned slightly, straightened his spine at random, and his words rang like thunderbolts in everyone’s ears.

In 18 years, nearly 18 years, another ”Wan Xing” appeared, is this fate?

Balmer closed his eyes wearily. Is everything preordained? Is it doomed that he will never be able to escape the catastrophe of ”Ten Thousand Stars” in his life?

While he was in a state of uncertainty, You Yisi had already explained the whole story to everyone.

”Because of the above reasons, Deputy Minister Bestan thinks that I am suspected of collaborating with the enemy and treason. I have no choice but to prove my innocence. I take the liberty to ask Judge Morrissey to help me apply for the Interstellar Conference. I hope you will forgive me.”

You Yisi told the reason of the incident so frankly that those who would make things difficult for him do not know what to do.

”Bestan, is what he said true?” A military official said, ”If you accuse ’Wan Xing’ innocently without clear evidence, do you know what consequences you will face?”

His words suddenly woke up Bestan who was still in a daze. The vice minister of the military department regained his senses and hurriedly said: ”Of course, my subordinates will not make accusations for no reason. There must be solid evidence, so I came to report to you all.” testify.”

”Oh?” The military minister said sternly again, ”You have to know that if it is an isolated evidence without corroborating evidence, it cannot be used as evidence.”

You Yisi heard the words, and looked at the officer thoughtfully. The military chief had something to say.You Yisi successfully defended Bai Qing and the Beichen Third Fleet on the grounds that the military department’s isolated evidence was insufficient to finalize the case. These people were afraid that he would make another move and cut off his retreat in advance.

”Of course not!” Bestan said hastily, ”Everyone, please take a look! This is the information I collected from the empire.”

What he submitted were a few photos of Mu Fan and You Yisi together, as well as some reports showing that the two had appeared together in the empire.

”These evidences come from the empire’s star network. If anyone is worried, they can collect them in person. Your Excellencies, this is enough to prove that Yisi has appeared in the empire a few months ago. And we have already issued a search and rescue order. As a The person involved has not returned for a long time, and deliberately stayed in the empire, what is the intention?”
