Chapter 2: Hidden Dragon in the Abyss

Beistar is the northernmost galaxy in the Galactic Seventh Republic.

Hundreds of years ago, when the Republic was at war with the Atlantis Empire, Beichen was the front line against the enemy and was once the military center of the Republic.During the 500 years of the war, a total of five generals, twenty major generals and lieutenant generals, and tens of millions of soldiers of the Republic died in the Beichen Star Field.

When the battle situation was at its worst, nearly two-thirds of the entire galaxy was occupied by the enemy, and once the enemy broke through the Beichen line of defense, the safety of the capital’s star field would be in jeopardy. At this moment, a general stationed in the Beichen star field violated the order of the military headquarters to retreat and defend, and led his starship to circle left and right, and finally died with the left wing fleet of the empire, reversing the entire battle situation.

The wind of Beichen never stops.

This is the last motto left by the soldiers who died.

The one who led the warship to die was the last patriarch of the ”Wanxing Family”, the frontier family guarding the Beichen Galaxy at that time. After him, the remaining seven sons of ”Wan Xing” died in battle in the Beichen galaxy one after another, until ”Wan Xing” had no more offspring, and gradually withered and died, becoming the interstellar swan song. And it is said that whenever ”ten thousand stars” rush to the battlefield, the stars of the Beichen galaxy will emit a bright light that is different from usual, reflecting the rest of the stars, and it seems that tens of thousands of stars are shining at the same time from a distance.

This is the origin of the name ”Wanxing Family”. However, few people know that ”Wanxing” is just their surname.

You Yisi’s hand holding the badge trembled a little. The moment he held it, he seemed to see the stars of the entire universe shining in front of him, and one of the familiar bright stars flashed out of the darkness. Passing away is like a flash of fireworks.

”Old man, this is...” You Yisi’s voice was trembling.

”This is the badge left by your father, and it is the only souvenir he left when he was in office.”

”In office? Who are my parents?” You Yisi asked repeatedly: ”And this badge, what does it mean?”

The old man looked at him, and slowly said: ”Your father is the only descendant of the meritorious general who repelled the fleet of the Atlantis Empire’, the last Patriarch of Wanxing, who had soldiers, and you have the same blood on your body.” ’The blood of ten thousand stars’.”

”And you are the last ’Ten Thousand Stars Bloodline’ in this world!”

”Just kidding, how could I...” You Yisi couldn’t believe it, but he held the badge tightly, but he couldn’t deny it firmly. Not for anything else, just because the bright star that flashed past in his sea of consciousness just now is very familiar, and any person on earth will feel very nostalgic for it.

That’s a star.

After coming to this era, Ai Yimi had inquired in every possible way, but did not hear any clues about the Milky Way.The universe is so big, and people are so small, You Yisi even gave up at one point, thinking that he was just reborn in another universe. However, the illusion just now gave him new hope.

That was the sun, the only star in his former homeland! Is it just a coincidence that he saw the sun in the badge?Wan Xing has a family. Could this magical family have anything to do with his rebirth?

”If you want to know the truth, go find it yourself.” The old man bent down, opened the door, and let the strong wind on Ziwei Star blow away the ashes.

”Wait!” You Yisi couldn’t help but stop.

”I can’t wait any longer.” The old man looked back at him, his piercing gaze was not like that of an old man who was nearly seventy years old.

”Whether to embark on a journey, or live a lifetime on this frontier planet, it’s your choice.”

”...”

You Yisi looked down at the dark gold badge in his hand, and held it tightly, almost embedded in his flesh. That night, he tossed and turned and didn’t sleep well all night. For a moment, the faces and faces of his family members when he was still on the earth flashed before his eyes, and for a while, the days when he and the old man depended on each other in Ziweixing flashed past.
