Esper Harem in the Apocalypse

ʼI want to tell him what exactly Rebecca did today, but I canʼt. He himself hasnʼt realized his feelings towards her, so if I point them out or tell anything about Rebecca, Rudy would surely debunk me saying I am a pervert and I think too much— which isnʼt wrong, but itʼs…ʼ

Angelica watched Rudy and Rebecca eat, but something was different today.

ʼIs it just me or does mom look in a happy mood today?ʼ Rudy asked himself. Usually, she would be in a bad or neutral mood at dinner for some reason. But today… she seems to be in a good mood.ʼ

ʼShe even lied to me and said she didnʼt clean my room. Why would she do that?ʼ Rudy wondered. ʼShe could have just said yes, or maybe said something like ʼSince you would be sharing this room with Lucy soon, I was making some space and cleaning the useless thingsʼ. But she straight up lied and denied.ʼ

Rudy wasnʼt truly worried about that as he thought Rebecca did that, so he wouldnʼt get angry at her, or feel embarrassed. But Rudy didnʼt have any adult magazines or anything that could get him in trouble.ʼ

”How was the date with Alice?” Rebecca asked curiously.

”Yeah, it was great. And we—”

”Oh, I am getting late!” Rebecca got up from her chair and said, ʼLetʼs talk about this in morning breakfast.ʼ

After saying that, Rebecca grabbed her purse from the couch and hastily left the house.

Rudy glanced at Angelica and uttered, ”I am surprised you kept your mouth shut this entire time.”

”Nothing good happens when you and your mom talk,” Angelica scoffed out loud. ”You both are the same pea of the pod.”

”Thatʼs not the correct phrase…”
