Becoming Their Guiding Spirit

Despite being a sweet idol, she unexpectedly liked heavy metal music and rap.

Or, since no one was home anyway, she often walked around the living room wearing only panties after a shower.

Or lying on the bed in a very unladylike manner.

After all...

Sora was human too.

Being an idol was a job. She needed to present her most perfect persona to her fans. But anyone who is human is bound to have some embarrassing little habits. Sometimes Sora would complain about not having a boyfriend and ramble on and on to Bailey, or about how annoying someone at the company was, and then curse them ten thousand times in front of Bailey.

If Bailey had seen all of that, Sora would probably die of social embarrassment on the spot.

Looks like she’d have to be more careful in the future.

”Miss Sora.”

Lucas Reeve suddenly said.

”Hmm?”

”Do you have any wishes? I can help you fulfill a few wishes. This is my destiny.”

Since Lucas Reeve has many soul fragments now, he naturally couldn’t stay here forever like when he first woke up from Jessica’s necklace.

But, since it was an acquaintance, and he was already here, he definitely had to harvest the Prayer Power before leaving. Although one person could only provide five thousand at most, every little bit adds up.

”Wishes?”

Sora looked at Lucas Reeve, puzzled.

”You can grant wishes? Bailey?”

Lucas Reeve nodded. ”I don’t remember my origins. I only vaguely remember that I need to help people fulfill their wishes in order to one day obtain a real body.”

Eh?

This line.

Lucas Reeve felt a wave of nostalgia. It had been a long time since he’d said that. Who was the last person he said this to? Zumama?

”A real body?”

Sora pressed: ”Bailey, isn’t this your body?”

”How could it be... Who uses a toy bear as a body.”

”Oh~”

Sora looked a little dejected, then said.

”Bailey, you’re so pitiful...”

”So, Miss Sora, do you have any wishes? Feel free to say them. As long as they’re reasonable, I will help you fulfill them. And, don’t feel embarrassed. Fulfilling people’s wishes is my job. Just stating your wish is, in a way, helping me too.”

Sora thought for a moment: ”Um... I can’t really think of any wishes right now...”

”Uh... can you let me meet that boy I like again??”

Lucas Reeve: ”???”

”Sora, you have a boy you like?”

Sora nodded, somewhat shyly.

”Honestly, it’s a bit embarrassing.”

”Uh... actually, I’ve told you about it before, but you probably weren’t awake back then, so you don’t know.”

”Um... I... I have a very good friend named Jessica...”

”We truly got to know each other over a year ago. Jessica knew me before, she was my fan, but I didn’t know her. A year ago, I needed to hold a concert, and Jessica, Sister Franka, and the others acted as my bodyguards. And then... Jessica saved me...”

”At that time, Jessica’s aura was so cool... so deep. It made my heart pound.”

”But... I found out later that Jessica’s aura at the time didn’t seem to be her own. It was someone else, temporarily occupying her body. A person named Lucas Reeve.”

”Earlier, in Siesta, I met Mr. Lucas Reeve’s real body. But I could only watch Mr. Lucas Reeve from afar... Although I really wanted to go up and talk to him... I... I didn’t dare. I really want to go up and express my gratitude, to thank him for saving me back in Lungmen... but... uh...”

The more she spoke, the redder her face became.

And Lucas Reeve, who was right opposite, froze.

Well, this is...

Damn!!

Good thing I didn’t use my real name.
