Chapter 1576 - 1576 Oh, She Even Called the Police?

1576 Oh, She Even Called the Police?

Tang Wanru was so angry that she laughed. She gritted her teeth and her temples bulged, even her hand shook. “You won’t let me in, right? Alright, I’ll call the police and let them handle it.”

She immediately called the police. “Hello, 110? I’m in the in-patient section of the city hospital. The thing is…”

Tang Wanru called the police, but the black-clothed bodyguard completely ignored her actions and continued to block her way. It seemed that as long as Tang Wanru did not try to barge in, it did not matter how much she threw a tantrum.

The police took the call very seriously and immediately said that they would send someone over.

!!
Tang Wanru’s face turned gloomy as she hung up the call. She stood to the side and said coldly, “Heh, I’ve already called the police. I want to see if you still have the ability to stop me after the police arrive.”

The bodyguard in black didn’t even look at her. He purely treated it as her making a scene.

At the police station.

The young police officer who received Tang Wanru’s call picked up his cap and prepared to set off to see what was going on.

He was just about to leave when someone asked, “Where are you going?”

“Ah, I received a report that someone was causing trouble at the city hospital. I’m going to take a look.” The young officer was still very young. Thus, he told the truth.

His unconcerned superior grunted and strode inside.

The young officer continued on his way out.

Unexpectedly, at this moment, the man who was about to enter suddenly stopped and turned to ask him, “Which hospital did you say it was?”

The young officer was already leaving the office when he was called.

He scratched his head in confusion. “The Beijing People’s Hospital. They said that someone caused trouble in the in-patient department and stopped a mother from seeing her child. What’s wrong?”

His superior’s expression turned serious. “Stay out of this,” he said immediately. “It’s not our business.”

The young officer looked confused. “?”

Wasn’t it just an ordinary disturbance? Why couldn’t they control it?

His superiors didn’t explain because it was too complicated to explain in one or two sentences. “Just leave it for now. I’ll take care of it. I’ll make a call.”

“… Yes.”

The young officer went back to his seat with his cap in hand, feeling more and more confused. But he didn’t have time to think about it, because a new police call was about to come in and he needed to deal with something else. In a flash, he had already forgotten about the incident.

…

Rhine Apartments.

“Master Wang, your coffee.” Gu San made a cup of coffee and placed it in front of the man respectfully.

Ye Wangchuan was on the phone.

Gu San didn’t know who he was talking to, but he saw the man’s lips curl into a disdainful smile. His eyes were filled with mockery. “Oh, she even called the police?”

Gu San pricked up his ears and immediately looked over with a puzzled expression.

Who was it? Who called the police?

Ye Wangchuan did not look at him. His tone was indifferent, even a little cold. “Don’t worry about her. Let her cause trouble if she wants to. She’s just a clown.”

There was some silence.

Gu San became even more curious and wanted to crawl into the phone to hear what the other party was saying. He tilted his head in the man’s direction and listened attentively.

However, Ye Wangchuan only spoke briefly before hanging up. Then, he threw the phone on the sofa at the side, picked up the still steaming coffee, and took a sip.
