12: The scene was so brutal that it was mistaken for a murder scene. After the Film Crew finished work, the excited director stayed up all night to have the Screenwriter revise the script.

The Second Boss’s scenes were increased from one to ten.

Lin Pei was naturally happy.

The pay for the Second Boss was several times higher than that of the Eighth Boss. At this rate, two months of basic food and shelter were guaranteed.

Besides the decent pay, he also found the acting quite satisfying.

The nine new scenes the director added for him were all plots involving torture and murder.

He could now be said to handle this kind of plot with ease.

He felt refreshed and invigorated after acting every day.

However, he didn’t know why everyone in the Film Crew kept their distance from him.

Clearly, the previous misunderstanding had been cleared up, hadn’t it?

”Cut.”

During a break, the Young Actor who was acting opposite Lin Pei vanished in a flash.

The rest of the Film Crew gathered in small groups, their faces pale.

”I feel a bit sorry for Little Zhao. Looking at him, he was almost scared to the point of vomiting.”

”Don’t just talk about him, I’m about to vomit too.”

”Look at the director’s face; it’s not much better. He’s really giving his all for the show.”

”Brother Lin’s acting... it feels like even real bandits aren’t as brutal as him. Oh my god, I can’t watch it at all.”

*Hiss*, I know it’s out of line to say this, and Brother Lin explained everything before, but I really suggest the police check again. How could this possibly be just acting?”

”Agreed, it really doesn’t look like acting.”

”...”

While everyone was discussing, a small Extra tremblingly took out her phone and logged into her Douyin.

She had hidden her phone when entering the set, so it wasn’t confiscated by the staff.

Later, on a whim, she secretly recorded a segment of a scene.

She thought she could edit a bit of it into her Film Crew vlog after work.

As a result, while recording, she scared herself senseless.

My goodness.

This actor’s acting was too real; she almost thought she was watching a real murder scene.

Her vision went dark, and she nearly fainted.

No, she couldn’t be the only one scared.

She had to spread this terror and double the horror!

Video uploaded, a tap of the finger, and the post was sent.

Just then, the director shouted ”Ready,” and the Young Actor hurriedly put her phone back into her boot.

Today’s final scene was Lin Pei’s wrap-up scene. In the scene, the Second Boss killed a whole group of people single-handedly.

He had truly seen red.

Lin Pei had a contemptuous smile on the corner of his mouth as he aimed his gun at the ”commoners” opposite him and unleashed a barrage of fire.

The crowd fell to the ground one after another.

Lin Pei’s expression remained unchanged, but those eyes clearly contained many things.

Disdain, excitement, coldness, pride... for a moment, everyone watching the scene was stunned.

Holy crap.

This psychopathic bandit Second Boss was practically brought to life!

Is it really not the person himself coming to act?

That gaze... they were truly afraid Lin Pei would raise his hand and give them a shot too... ”Cut.”

Lin Pei put the prop aside properly and turned around.

Eh, where are the people?

Not to mention the Film Crew staff, even the group of Extras he had just ”shot” were nowhere to be found.

Looking at the camera’s position, even the director was gone.

The speed of finishing work was absolutely unprecedented and never to be repeated.

Well, it’s understandable.

If you’re not proactive about finishing work, there’s something wrong with your mindset.

Lin Pei scanned the surroundings; only a cleaning lady was still there.

He took a step forward, and the lady immediately waved her hand in a ”stop” gesture.

”Don’t kill me! My shoe fell off, I just came back to pick it up!”

”...”

Was the character so brutal that even the cleaning lady was scared?

A flash of guilt crossed Lin Pei’s heart, and the corners of his mouth then curled up, revealing what he thought was a kind smile to the auntie.

”Ah...”

The auntie’s face turned deathly pale.

”Just now when he was killing people, that’s exactly how he smiled...”

The auntie didn’t even want her shoe anymore as she scrambled and ran out of the studio.

”...”

Lin Pei touched his own face.

It seemed his acting skills had gone up another notch.

Not bad, keep up the good work.

Becoming the best actor is just around the corner... Not long after, Lin Pei received a WeChat message from the director, congratulating him on finishing his scenes.
