Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

152: Chapter 152 Successfully transcending the tribulation, yet in an unfamiliar place.Under the fierce assault of the lightning tribulation, Bai Xuan struggled to resist, consuming quite a few evolution points.

”The higher the talent, the stronger the lightning tribulation. This little guy from the surface world is not simple; it is much stronger than when I underwent the tribulation.” Lord Long Yan couldn’t help but praise.

Such a heaven-favored talent must be recruited; if snatched away by others or hostile factions, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Lord Long Yan made up his mind: if this newly promoted beast monarch from the surface could not be used by him, then he would eliminate him to nip the trouble in the bud.

”I didn’t expect this kid to receive such high praise from Lord Long Yan.” The Magic Eye Lizard couldn’t help but remark.

This was the first time it had heard Lord Long Yan praise a ferocious beast, and with such a high evaluation; it seemed that the ferocious beast was indeed extraordinary.

Furthermore, that ferocious beast had a good relationship with Chen Gu; would it come to look for trouble with it in the future? The Magic Eye Lizard became worried, as that was a Tier 7 beast monarch after all!

”Beast God bless, he must succeed in the tribulation.” Seeing that Lord Long Yan had no intention of attacking Bai Xuan, Chen Gu breathed a sigh of relief and began to pray for him in his heart.

The Unicorn held even more respect for Bai Xuan: ”To be able to grow to this point in such a short time is truly shocking!”

After some time, the lightning tribulation gradually dispersed, which meant that Bai Xuan had successfully passed the tribulation.

”It seems he has successfully passed the tribulation.” Lord Long Yan said, then flew towards Bai Xuan, with the Magic Eye Lizard, the Unicorn, and Chen Gu following closely behind.

”A Tier 7 powerhouse?”

After successfully passing the tribulation, Bai Xuan involuntarily transformed into human form; his light blue hair reached his waist, fluttering in the wind. His upper body was bare, while his waist was covered by ice feathers resembling a skirt-like armor. His features were handsome, and his skin was fair and delicate.

Between his eyebrows was an ice crystal, from which cold, icy patterns spread out to cover his forehead.

He also possessed two pairs of ice crystal wings.

”I am Lord Long Yan of the Blazing Flame Mountain Range. May I ask your name?”

Lord Long Yan stopped less than thirty meters away from Bai Xuan, treading on the void as if walking on flat ground, his eyes calm and placid as he looked at Bai Xuan.

”Bai Xuan, from the surface world.” After a moment of silence, Bai Xuan replied.

”Bai Xuan? That is a good name.” Lord Long Yan stroked his chin, nodded gently, and offered a word of praise.

He then went straight to the point: ”You are new here and unfamiliar with the territory. Why not become my subordinate and serve me? I will certainly not treat you poorly; there are abundant resources, and your status would be second only to mine. How about it?”

Offering both power and resources—and given that Lord Long Yan was a dragon from the central region, his status went without saying, far exceeding that of many other monarch-level ferocious beasts, as were his resources—any other newly promoted Tier 7 ferocious beast would have certainly agreed.

But Bai Xuan was different; he gently shook his head: ”Sorry, I have no intention of joining any faction.”

On one hand, Bai Xuan did not know Lord Long Yan; on the other, he already had his own faction and had no need to join another. If a ferocious beast of Tier 7, Stage 6 or higher had come today, Bai Xuan might have considered it.

But Lord Long Yan was only at Tier 7, Stage 3, and Bai Xuan was not necessarily weaker than him; therefore, there was no need to become his subordinate and serve him.

Upon hearing Bai Xuan’s answer, Chen Gu and the Unicorn broke into a cold sweat for him; the other party was Lord Long Yan, yet he dared to refuse!

The Magic Eye Lizard, however, was gloating; it had originally been worried that Bai Xuan would come to find trouble with it, but now it seemed that he could barely protect himself. As long as he did not join Lord Long Yan, Bai Xuan could do nothing to it.
