Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2941: Chapter 2939: Allowed

Of course, if she had some ulterior motive for coming, being blocked like this wouldn’t be a problem. But since the result clearly wasn’t that, wanting to do something is just impossible.

Now Qin Xue wants to see Nangong Beiying’s situation but is being blocked. She can’t see her and it’s really frustrating.

Qin Xue has no options. She thinks it would be nice if someone familiar showed up, at least someone to let her in, or maybe call someone for her. But that person hasn’t paid her any attention after saying those two words, and she really finds this person incredibly bothersome.

No matter what she thinks, she just can’t get inside.

”Can you notify Mr. Nangong for me, and just tell him Qin Xue is here to see his daughter? If he also says she’s unavailable or not here, then I’ll leave immediately, okay?” Qin Xue has already searched several places; if she can’t find anyone here, she really doesn’t know where else to look.

It’s just a result she hadn’t anticipated, and she doesn’t know how to express it.

She never thought she’d encounter such a result. When she went to see Qing Teng, she never had this kind of situation. Who knew she’d be shut out now?

If it were her old fiery temper, she’d have made Nangong Beiying fire this person.

How can anyone treat the host’s family like this? Even though she’s just a guest, she’s still a guest of the Nangongs, right? Why isn’t she allowed inside?

Qin Xue can’t understand it, and the person doesn’t want to reason with her, so it’s impossible to know about matters of the Nangongs.

Qin Xue doesn’t think this approach is wrong, but it depends on the person. She’s not a bad person at all. No matter what, someone should at least ask before deciding her intentions, right?

If by then, Nangong Beiying and Mr. Nangong say they don’t want to see her, she would definitely turn around and leave, never bothering them again.

That kind of result would be best, wouldn’t it? And such an approach would make for a competent worker.

Qin Xue has never met someone like this gatekeeper before. When others aren’t seeing people, at the very least they’d explain why. But him? Apart from saying ”not here,” no matter how much she asks, he doesn’t make a sound, really infuriating her.

”Alright, I got it. Just lend me your paper and pen, that should be possible, right?” Qin Xue, staring at the gatekeeper, truly feels cornered with no other options.

No matter what, what she can do now is leave a note for Nangong Beiying.

As long as she knows Qin Xue came by, she’ll know where to find her.

”Okay.” The gatekeeper gave Qin Xue several looks before finally handing over the paper and pen.

”Thanks.” Even though Qin Xue is unhappy, she doesn’t rudely treat the gatekeeper.

On the contrary, she maintains the same politeness as before, and this approach actually earns her a bit more respect.

This woman, unlike previous visitors who did irritating things, actually behaves quite politely, and the gatekeeper has experienced quite a bit of this in the past. Precisely because of this, he took up the job at the Nangongs, only to find himself in such a situation.

Now, she can only pin her hopes on this note, while Qin Xue doesn’t criticize the gatekeeper too much. She can understand the responsibilities involved; it’s just he could be more tactful, which would be greatly beneficial to the hosts, himself, or even to his own future.
