Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2937: Chapter 2935: Isn’t This a Bit Inappropriate as a Gift?

The next day, Qin Xue started making candied hawthorn with her sister, and as soon as they finished, they saw several children eagerly awaiting them.

”Little gluttons, eat well, come on.” Today, Qin Jiale learned a new treat. She had only seen others sell them before, and didn’t have the money to buy them, even though there were hawthorn on the mountain. But they were too sour, so they didn’t pick too many, just drying some for digestive tea at home.

Who knew that making candied hawthorn wasn’t too difficult, and those sugar-frosted hawthorns looked really nice, just a bit too sugary.

”Yay, finally done, I want to eat.” Yu Chen, the most energetic one, was the furthest away.

Yu Ze was still so composed, while Cohen had been silent a lot lately, probably because he had been away from them for a while. Watching the children’s reactions, Qin Xue felt uneasy. It wasn’t something she could control; if she had known beforehand, she might have let Chu Molin stay, and gone by herself.

Just thinking about such possibilities, she knew it was impossible.

”Plenty, eat slowly. Do you want to take some to Nannan and Yuran?” Qin Xue originally meant to give them some, so when making them, she felt there wasn’t enough and asked Qin Yu to buy more. Who knew he’d buy so much, even more than Chu Molin did yesterday.

So, once done, well, she got carried away and made too much. What to do, store it in space to eat slowly? Or give some away first, and store the leftovers?

Anyway, the pets at her place eat anything like humans, so she wasn’t worried about not finishing, only that she should take care of people first.

Qin Xue wanted everyone to have a chance to taste what they wanted, so when making them, she considered everyone she could think of around her, regardless of how much they ate. She just wanted them to have the chance to try it.

”Alright, let’s go together, let’s go find Nannan and play with them.” Yu Chen had been at home for too long and wanted to go out and play, so when he heard he could go out, he didn’t hesitate.

”Okay, everyone eat first, eat then go. Your dad has things to do, so we can’t delay him.” Qin Xue wondered what the matter was, but it was just this reason; it really wasn’t a problem.

Taking them out was something she had planned beforehand, of course.

No matter what, they needed to fill their stomachs first, especially since Chu Molin had work to do, and if he didn’t go, it wouldn’t be possible. He needed to see if there was any problem to fix promptly.

”Mm, alright.” The kids, upon hearing this, didn’t go straight for the candied hawthorns because they knew eating them on an empty stomach wasn’t good, so they wanted to eat properly first.

”Xue’er, are you sure you want to bring this much?” Chu Molin looked at the bags of fruit; it wasn’t anything precious, should they really bring so much?

Of course, his concern wasn’t about whether his wife was right but rather about gifting this as a present?

In his mind, anything Qin Xue did, no matter how unconventional, was normal. It’s just that he personally never gave these as gifts.

”Absolutely, get going, don’t worry about us here, I’m not afraid, why should you be.” Qin Xue was quite impressed with him today, for a man who usually doesn’t bother with such things, what was up with him?

Upon seeing her like that, Chu Molin didn’t say much, remained silent for a moment, and left.
