Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2887: Chapter 2885: Want to Rent a Studio

”Chu Molin, where did you go today?” Qin Xue came to the dining table, sat across from him, and watched him eat.

Since he wasn’t saying anything, she’d ask herself then. That should be fine, right?

”I went to look at office buildings, checked out quite a few, and finally found one I liked. But the rent is a bit high, so I wanted to come back and ask for your opinion.” Chu Molin answered Qin Xue’s question while eating.

”What area is it in?” Qin Xue thought the rent was related to the location, and she needed to know where it was before giving her opinion.

”It’s on East Street.” Chu Molin saw that there were relatively quiet people over there, and quite a few were doing other things there too.

So after seeing it, he chose that area. People have a common mindset: they go where the crowd goes.

He wanted to do something special, but the other places didn’t meet his requirements, so he could only look over at East Street, and who knew he’d really find something there.

Anyway, regarding this matter, Chu Molin hadn’t mentioned it to Qin Xue beforehand, so her not knowing was normal.

But still, he needed to let her know about renting the place. Otherwise, what kind of person would he be?

Often, no matter what, one has to communicate.

Life is like this; why bother so much about the process? As long as the result is good, it’s fine.

So after hearing what Chu Molin said, Qin Xue nodded in agreement. Doing it this way was certainly good.

But how to put it, maybe just go with him to see it later.

Moreover, she felt that this wasn’t the only thing Chu Molin had in mind.

He must have already planned what he wanted to do; otherwise, why would he be so eager to rent a place?

But she wondered if she should ask him about it.

”Is something the matter?” Chu Molin looked at Qin Xue’s expression, wanting to ask but not speaking. Was something making it hard for her to open up?

”I was thinking of asking you how much money you need; I’ll go prepare it for you.” Qin Xue originally didn’t want to say this, but as soon as she spoke, it turned out that way.

”The money needed is quite a lot, but aren’t you coming with me to take a look?” Chu Molin felt a bit surprised when he heard her ask.

”I trust your judgment. I’ve had the money ready for a while, just hadn’t given it to you yet. I just don’t know how much you need this time, and if what I’ve prepared is enough.” Qin Xue just saved her dividends and earned money for Chu Molin. As for the rest, she thought if it wasn’t enough, she’d sell her shares in the garment factory to Guo Aiguo.

That should be able to sell for a good amount, and should be enough for him to use.

But she hadn’t told Chu Molin about this, so he didn’t know she was planning to help him in this way; otherwise, he definitely wouldn’t agree.

”Let’s go take a look first, and see the situation before talking about it.” Chu Molin thought at this moment, he also didn’t know the situation, and there’d be renovation later, which would indeed cost quite a bit.

However, over the years, he had saved quite a bit at Xiao Qi and Li Zhao’s places, which should be enough for him to use, not needing his wife to provide funds.

So, if his own investment money isn’t enough, he’ll talk about it then.

”That’s fine, then. I won’t go with you this afternoon. You decide how you want to handle it. Just make the decisions about the renovation. It’s just that Xiao Qi hasn’t woken up yet and can’t help you with the design. What do you want it to look like?” Qin Xue had Xiao Qi help her before, but since he’s not awake yet, he can’t help now either.

If it really doesn’t work, she can design the blueprints herself and have the people from his company help Chu Molin with the renovation.
