Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2677: Chapter 2673: Wanting to Start a Business

”Dad, how come you’re here? Did you go grocery shopping? Let me carry that.” Qin Xue heard the voice, turned around, and saw her father. It was such a coincidence—they hadn’t even gotten back yet and she already saw him. Besides, they were planning to eat out later.

Now that she saw her father went grocery shopping, it seemed like they wouldn’t need to eat out later. Eating at home was fine too, especially since she was tired from the ride and didn’t feel like moving around.

She didn’t say this to her father, instead, she went to grab the grocery basket from her father’s hand.

”No need, I’ve got it. Let’s go, your mom is at the store. If she sees you’ve returned, she’ll definitely be delighted.” Qin Lei thought of how his wife constantly talked about the kids, always wondering how they were doing over there. Initially, they planned to transfer the youngest daughter here, and now both their children were doing well, making any further worry unnecessary.

Now it all worked out. As parents, what more could they say? They were relieved but also felt they hadn’t done enough.

They had always worried about them, wanted to visit them, but something always came up. Now that their daughter was here, it put his wife’s mind at ease.

Qin Lei thought this outcome was great, so he didn’t mind their secrecy. The kids were doing well, and now with a child on the way, it was all good news—they should be happy.

”Mom’s watching the store, huh? How are you doing here? Getting used to it?” Qin Xue asked her father.

”It’s okay. We were a bit all over the place at first, but it’s much better now, we’ve overcome everything. By the way, what made you think of coming back here?” Qin Lei wasn’t sure if they went home first or came straight here.

”We got your letter and heard about the situation here. Then I thought, the supplies here might not be much, so I wanted to come brew some wine to stock up for you. Isn’t aged wine better? So we came.” Qin Xue could only explain that she worried business was too good and they’d run out of stock.

”There’s still stock, but you’re right—this wine doesn’t spoil, it only gets better with age. Now that you’re here to make more, that’s even better.” Qin Lei, being a drinker, knew which wine tasted better.

Even those who don’t drink know that wine gets richer the longer it’s aged, giving it a smoother taste. Thus, Qin Lei thought his daughter’s idea was right.

Qin Lei had no objections to what Qin Xue planned and did, so their return was just what they wanted.

”Molin, you don’t need to work for now, just take a good break and then think about other things. You’ve been so busy these years without any relaxation. Now that you can take a break, make sure to rest well.” Qin Lei saw his son-in-law by his daughter’s side, knowing she was pregnant, so it was clear.

”Dad, I know. Don’t worry, I’ll arrange it well.” Chu Molin hadn’t interrupted their father-daughter conversation, and only after they finished did he get the chance to speak when his father-in-law addressed him.

As for his wife, he didn’t worry. This matter was something he had been contemplating recently, and as long as he figured out how to proceed, there wouldn’t be any problems—just a matter of determining how to handle the projects.

He had talked to Xiao Qi about wanting to do business and needing funds, and Xiao Qi had said he could take money from him and even proposed partnering up.

However, Chu Molin hadn’t decided how to proceed, so he hadn’t agreed yet because he didn’t even know how to start yet, let alone how to partner. That would be discussed later.
