Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2616: Chapter 2611: Your Relatives Are Truly Appalling

”Go, let’s go.” Qin Xue nodded. They had to go, someone had to take care of him, and Ji Yan was his family; only she could look after him. But she thought about possibly hiring a caregiver to help.

In this day and age, it’s hard to find someone willing to care for a patient. But considering this, regardless of the time period, as long as there’s money offered, there will always be someone willing.

In the future, people aren’t even willing to take this job for US$ 100 a day because some caregivers charge really high fees. They charge based on the severity of the patient’s condition.

Qin Xue thought she should inquire if there’s anyone willing to come, and if there is, she might hire one to help. That way, Ji Yan wouldn’t be so exhausted, and being male, there were certain inconveniences she faced in caring for him.

Qin Xue understood such an outcome, so she contemplated what to do. As long as she could do well, she was willing to spend some money for it.

As Qin Xue and Ji Yu walked, she pondered over this issue. The final solution she thought of was this, as she had no other choice. Chu Molin couldn’t possibly keep helping out; this was the only way.

”Ji Yu, you still haven’t told me what happened these days?” Qin Xue hadn’t forgotten the mess in the yard. Considering Ji Yu’s diligence, it should be as clean and tidy as last time. But today she saw it was dirty and chaotic, this situation told her something wasn’t right.

”Uncle and them came to take things, but there was really nothing left to take at home. They didn’t believe it, so they rummaged through everything. While they were searching, my brother was brought back. When they saw villagers, they left. As for my brother being unattended, I heard from elders before that if bitten by a snake, sucking out the poisoned blood would help. So I thought of sucking out the blood. Seeing my brother not waking up, I had no choice but to find you.” Ji Yu felt helpless, dealing with such relatives was unspeakable.

Qin Xue kept asking, leaving Ji Yu no choice but to confess honestly.

”Your relatives are really horrible! The lives of two children are already difficult, and they still come to loot; where’s their shame gone?” Qin Xue was truly furious; such a simple matter.

But they caused the two children to not be able to live well; it was simply bewildering what was going on?

What valuable things could these two children have? The house was so bare it could hardly be shabby; where could they find things to take?

It’s truly at a loss for words; there’s absolutely no shame, these supposed elders have reached such a level, might as well not live.

Faced with all these happenings, Qin Xue felt like she couldn’t hold back, wondering how Ji Yu endured without breaking down. Didn’t she find such days unbearably hard?

But no matter how she thought, it was useless, because she wasn’t Ji Yu. What she didn’t want, Ji Yu might not feel the same way about, so she could only be anxious by the side, yet couldn’t tell her not to acknowledge them.

Just like her previous life, lacking family bonds, in facing her disreputable father’s family, she kept fantasizing that one day they would accept her and be nice to her. So being an outsider, many things are beyond understanding.

No matter how dissatisfied or furious Qin Xue was, it was of no use because she wasn’t Ji Yu, couldn’t live her life, couldn’t make decisions on her behalf.
