Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2373: Chapter 2367: Have You Made Up Your Mind?

”That’s really odd, I thought you asked him to bring it because he’s your brother. Besides you, who else would do such a thing?” Qin Jiale thought her sister wouldn’t use others to give her things, especially when her brother was around. If something were given to her, it’d likely be from her brother, so Ye Li’s action left her puzzled.

”Stop overthinking. It’s given to you, and you’ve eaten it. Isn’t it a bit redundant to ask who asked him to bring it now?” Ye Zishu thought of a possibility, but she’d have to go back and ask her proud cousin to get a definite answer.

”Alright, I won’t think about it. What are you going to do now?” Qin Jiale thought Ye Zishu must have a reason for finding her, rather than just wanting to see her.

”To ask your brother-in-law if I can also take the exam and transfer to study with you.” Ye Zishu hadn’t forgotten about this. She couldn’t just leave it be; following due process was necessary. Otherwise, transferring would be tough.

”Let’s go together then. I’m unsure if it’s feasible, but asking gives us an idea.” Qin Jiale wasn’t confident about securing her a slot since her transfer was only sorted because her brother-in-law intervened.

”That’s fine, we can ask, and if it’s not possible, then we’ll deal with it later.” Ye Zishu didn’t insist it must happen; asking first was essential.

”Alright, let’s go find my brother-in-law. But wasn’t he chatting with your uncle there? You could ask on your own; why drag me along?” Qin Jiale noticed her brother-in-law talking to Ye Li’s father. In such a situation, her presence seemed unnecessary.

”Oh, you’re just easier to approach. He’s not exactly my eldest cousin, which feels a bit awkward.” Ye Zishu laughed.

”Okay, I get it. Let’s go, I’ll ask, alright?” Qin Jiale felt she had no choice but to agree. This was a simple task she could handle alone without needing another person. But since she agreed, she’d do it.

”Brother-in-law.” Qin Jiale and Ye Zishu approached them and called out to Chu Molin.

”Is there something you need?” Chu Molin looked at his sister-in-law, surprised by their sudden interruption, wondering what they wanted.

”Shushu heard I transferred to the Imperial Capital and she wants to transfer too. Can you ask the principal if she can take the exam to transfer here?” Qin Jiale wasn’t sure how to say it, but she managed to express the gist of it.

”Shushu, you want to transfer? What about that rascal?” Ye Xiao looked at Ye Zishu, surprised she didn’t approach him instead of Chu Molin. It felt unnecessary.

”I don’t know if he’s transferring or not. I just want to, because studying with Lele is enjoyable and interesting. I want to come here. Uncle, could you talk to my parents about it? Make sure they agree to let me study here, please?” Ye Zishu felt confident that if Ye Xiao spoke to her parents, they’d let her come.

”That’s fine with me. Have you decided which school you want to attend? Also, why did you talk to Chu Molin instead of me?” Ye Xiao thought Ye Zishu’s approach was unnecessary, complicating things.

”Because the slot for Lele was arranged by him, of course I’d ask him.” Ye Zishu found her uncle’s question odd. Qin Jiale transferred because of him, so who else would she ask?
