Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2280: Chapter 2274: Go Find Chu Xiaoqiao to Lead the Way

”Sis, are we walking there?” Qin Jiale asked, looking at the few people standing at the door.

”Yes, we’re going to the shop to find Xiaoqiao first, she’ll take us there,” Qin Xue said as she detailed the plan.

”That’s fine.” Qin Yu didn’t have any objections and went along to the shop. He didn’t know the place, so he had to follow his sister.

”I mean you guys don’t have to be so nervous, if it works out, that’s great. If not, it’s no big deal. At worst, I’ll figure something else out,” Qin Xue thought she shouldn’t have talked to her sister about this first, seeing how tense she seemed now. She didn’t know what her sister was afraid of.

”I’m not nervous. It’s just that this place is really very different from where we used to live. No wonder the Imperial Capital is the most prosperous city in the entire Hua Country.” This time, Qin Jiale was looking around as she walked, so what she observed now was different from yesterday.

Yesterday, they were anxious to see her sister, and Qing Teng drove them over, so it flew by, completely different from what she saw now.

”It’s alright, being nervous is normal.” Qin Xue wasn’t teasing her sister; it’s just that moving from a familiar place suddenly to an unfamiliar one makes people feel unsettled and it’s totally normal to feel a bit lost.

”Yeah, yeah. Sis, who is this Xiaoqiao?” Qin Jiale didn’t understand why her sister wanted to find her to take them there.

”She’s your brother-in-law’s sister, but since your brother-in-law hasn’t returned to the main house, she doesn’t live at our family house either. The room you’re staying in is the one she used to stay in.” Qin Xue didn’t see a reason not to say this, so when her sister asked, she explained.

”No wonder I felt it was so clean. Seems like Xiaoqiao is quite the personality.” Qin Jiale didn’t feel there was anything wrong with staying in a place someone else had lived in. After all, her sister’s house was only so big; if she didn’t stay there, the person who’d be inconvenienced would be her sister. Plus, her sister just mentioned Xiaoqiao only occasionally stayed there, so she didn’t feel she was taking someone else’s space.

After all, her sister was her sister and Xiaoqiao’s sister-in-law; all of this was for Qin Xue and Chu Molin’s sake. At worst, when Xiaoqiao did come, they could stay together. If she didn’t succeed in transferring to a school here, then she wouldn’t be there long before she had to return, so wasn’t this change no big deal?

”She’s nice, you’ll see when you meet her. Maybe you two can even become good friends.” Qin Xue felt differently about Chu Xiaoqiao when compared to other members of the Chus. She had a good impression of Xiaoqiao.

So when her sister asked, she thought it was nice and hoped her sister would get in touch more with Xiaoqiao, as Xiaoqiao had a good personality. Contact with her wouldn’t be harmful for her sister and would be beneficial.

”Alright, I’ll certainly get along well with her.” Qin Jiale didn’t think her sister was trying to manipulate her with praise about Xiaoqiao; her sister just wanted her to improve.

She still understood her sister’s personality; her sister hopes she does well, so she wants her to be around such people.

Her sister’s sensible nature made Qin Xue feel she wasn’t doing anything wrong, knowing her sister understood her intentions. She simply smiled; it’s definitely going in a good direction, isn’t it?

Qin Xue truly wanted the best for her sister; otherwise, she wouldn’t have mentioned only Chu Xiaoqiao. Even though she didn’t know many people here, it was enough for development.

This is why they say it’s important to make friends who are of use. A good friend is worth ten or even twenty drinking buddies.
