Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2203: Chapter 2197: You Don’t Understand a Mother’s Heart Until You Become One

”It doesn’t mean much. You just need to know that we’re saying ordinary things. You’ll understand when you become a mom.” Qin Xue didn’t want to explain this issue to Ouyang Ziyu. It’s better for her to figure it out herself later, as it’s not something that can be easily explained.

”You’re doing this again.” Ouyang Ziyu had no idea how many times she’d encountered this situation today.

The two of them understood each other perfectly, but the more Ziyu listened, the more confused she got. It was really frustrating.

”What do you mean by ’doing this’? We’re talking about kids. You know, when it comes to children’s issues, you won’t really get it until you become a mom yourself and start thinking about these things. Otherwise, no matter how much we explain, you won’t understand how we feel. Does that make sense?” Qing Zhu also didn’t want to delve further into other topics with Ouyang Ziyu.

How could she explain that their reference to childhood was when they were in the future, and when comparing the kids from those times to Xuexue’s kids, today’s children seemed ridiculously naive?

Qing Zhu wasn’t saying today’s kids were bad, but in the future, kids born in the 21st century were extremely fortunate. They had advanced learning tools and the best resources, embracing the most trendy and cutting-edge technology.

If she actually said that, Ouyang Ziyu would definitely be freaked out, possibly thinking they were monsters.

Regarding this matter, Qing Zhu couldn’t say anything, nor was she able to, so she could only explain it to Ouyang Ziyu from a mother’s perspective.

Since Ziyu wasn’t a mom yet, she didn’t understand the feelings of being one. Even if Qing Zhu explained, Ziyu would only grasp half of it. Once she became a mom herself, who knows how long later, she would have forgotten, and everything would seem as if it hadn’t happened.

Qing Zhu thought this through, and things turned out just as she imagined. It wasn’t a big deal, anyway, something easily forgotten once mentioned.

When Ouyang Ziyu finally became a mom, she realized that taking care of kids was so exhausting. She had seen Qin Xue and them taking care of children like it was easy, and they grew up in no time. But when it was her turn, she found it truly tiring, didn’t she?

But now, she had no way to truly understand, so after hearing Qing Zhu’s words, she didn’t dwell on the issue further.

”Master, you’re so slow.” Xue Ling started communicating with Qin Xue through consciousness.

”We went to the research institute and met Chu Molin there. So, after doing a follow-up on dad’s legs, we talked for a bit. Did something happen?” Qin Xue asked Xue Ling, of course, also through consciousness.

”Nothing much, just a bit bored here and wanting to go home.” Xue Ling was here with several kids, but its tools weren’t, so there wasn’t much it could do aside from watching the kids play. It was utterly boring, wasn’t it?

”No worries, I came to take you all back.” Qin Xue had been out for more than half a day, and it was time to return.

So when the driver asked where they lived, they came here because all the kids were here, and she had to help take them back.

”Okay.” Hearing the answer it wanted, Xue Ling said no more.

”Qing Zhu, we’re heading back first. You take the kids for a nap.” Qin Xue noticed that even Qing Yuran was yawning non-stop.

”Aren’t you going to play for a while before leaving?” Dongfang Li, who was sitting nearby embroidering, asked after hearing Qin Xue.
