Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2200: Chapter 2194: Does His Mind Really Have to Be This Brilliant?

Ouyang didn’t expect that when she last saw Qin Yu, he was just mentioning that he was attending night school, and how long has it been? He actually took the college entrance exam. He learned three years’ worth of knowledge in one year; what kind of brain does he have? It’s amazing.

In that instant, Ouyang Ziyu’s perception of Qin Yu changed drastically. She had heard of people learning one year’s worth of knowledge in one year, but had never seen anyone learn three years’ worth in one year.

And Ouyang Ziyu didn’t know that Chu Molin also learned several years’ worth of knowledge in one year, otherwise she would have thought this family was not human—what kind of extraordinary talent is this, it’s terrifying.

Such talent is coveted by many yet unattainable; however, Ouyang Ziyu was unaware that this talent could be deadly.

Because if a person’s memory is too good, he will remember everything that happens, and remembered things won’t be forgotten. Gradually accumulating more and more, the human brain, like a palace, can store a lot of memories, but as these things accumulate, it makes one feel exhausted, mentally wearied.

Why say so? Because even a tiny thing, in the mind of someone with a good memory, can grow enormously, making him fully aware of what the matter entails. One thing might be small, but when all matters accumulate, it’s not small at all.

This is why those with exceptional memories often suffer from mild or severe neurasthenia, and some even die prematurely due to this reason.

Of course, this accounts for only a small number of cases, not representing everyone.

Some people may choose to selectively shut off some nerve tendrils in their minds because once some memories are blocked, new space becomes available for storing new memories. This is why the human brain is so miraculous.

It’s not easy for someone to acquire such methods, but it’s not impossible to learn, as long as the path is chosen correctly. Otherwise, the opposite effect can ensue, which is why there are so many people with extraordinary memory; they have learned certain techniques to better remember more things.

However, Qin Yu hasn’t learned these techniques; everything relies on his own mind and unique memory approach, otherwise he’d certainly be no ordinary person.

Ouyang Ziyu thought that if Qin Yu, with such abilities, hadn’t dropped out earlier, his achievements now would surely be significant, what a pity.

Thankfully, he eventually chose to continue his studies, not wasting his intelligent mind.

She was unsure how she arrived at such a comparison; no matter how intelligent a person is, they have their own significance, don’t they?

This is why there are smart people and dumb people in the world, but regardless of intelligence, everyone’s life differs, as family factors are also what they must face and experience.

And Qin Yu’s family was poor, otherwise, he wouldn’t have quit school due to lack of money.

If he had been born into a wealthy and powerful family, he would have truly been admired as a gifted prodigy in the world. This is one of the things known to everyone in wealthy families, because the praised one is always someone else’s child.

In Ouyang Ziyu’s heart, she also disliked her family or others comparing her to others, as that feeling is really unpleasant.

And she believed others thought the same way too, aside from those standing high above; she believed no one wanted to live under someone else’s brilliance.
