When it came to gacha, lottery, or blind box type items, his luck had never been good; he was a true ’non-chief’.

And this was even worse.

Slap!

Liu Yang clapped his hands together, using the treasure map.

Then a set of coordinates appeared in his mind.

The target location wasn’t very far from Liu Yang.

Anyone who has ever drawn cards knows that even if you’re a ’non-chief,’ you still can’t help but draw.

So...

“Let me see how my luck is this time.”

Liu Yang rubbed his hands together and headed for the target location.

“This is the place.”

After an hour’s journey, eliminating many monsters along the way, Liu Yang finally stood at the location indicated by the treasure map.

He plunged the wind-thunder spiritual sword into the soil, and with a forceful pry, a large chunk of dirt was flung up.

Heave-ho!

Liu Yang smiled, transforming into a cheerful miner.

The wind-thunder spiritual sword plunged down fiercely, and a “ding” sound rang out.

“Got it!”

Before Liu Yang could continue digging, a golden light, carrying several items, shot out from underground.

[Congratulations on unearthing a mysterious treasure. You have obtained wind spirit stone x6, gold crystal stone x3, gold block x5, world megaphone x2.]

“Aren’t these all pretty good things? Why is it called a ’mischievous treasure map’?”

Just then.

Another puff of black smoke emerged, instantly enveloping Liu Yang.

[Sympathy for you, you have been entangled by the Curse of the God of Misfortune, gaining a 24-hour misfortune buff. During the buff’s duration, please do not move recklessly.]

“Hey, hey, how did this happen…”

Liu Yang was excited and couldn’t help but shout.

Then he unconsciously took a step forward, tripped over his left foot with his right, and took a classic fall on flat ground.

[Misfortune buff triggered. You fell face-first.]

“I c—”

Liu Yang was about to curse, but his tongue suddenly hurt again.

[Misfortune buff triggered. You bit your own tongue until it bled.]

At this point, Liu Yang dared not move or speak, only feeling deep regret.

“Serves you right for being so reckless, drawing cards, acting like an idiot.”

Thinking about his current situation, fighting monsters was impossible.

He might not even hit the monster and instead chop himself up first.
