All Gods: Starting with Two Families

Chapter 43 The Curse of the FeetThe spatial fluctuations around him slowly subsided, and Zhou Zheng’s divine thought projection appeared within a bizarre and grotesque Plane.

This was the ”Rainbow Plane,” where countless gorgeous, slowly shifting ribbons of colored light flowed through the sky.

Zhou Zheng’s divine thought projection was currently draped in an inconspicuous gray cloak, with a wide hood obscuring his face.

Yet even so, an irrepressible sense of exhaustion still radiated from the edges of his slightly dim projection.

”Continuously performing Transmigration across two distant Planes... the burden on the Divine Thought entity is still too great.”

He felt waves of weakness and stinging pain emanating from the depths of his consciousness and mused silently.

Performing another ultra-long-distance jump in such a short time would very likely damage his Divine Thought Origin, which would not be worth the cost.

In any case, the time limit for the ”Fluorescent Sea” mission was forty years, so he had plenty of time; he decided to rest and recuperate in this public Plane for a while first.

According to the introduction in the ”Jump Map” provided by the mission, the Rainbow Plane had a long history and did not belong to any single God System.

Due to its unique neutrality and stability, it had gradually become a paradise for numerous ”wild” deities and wandering deities to gather, communicate, and trade.

Once settled, Zhou Zheng’s first task was to sink his Divine Thought into his own Divine Domain to carefully inspect the parasitic Death infestation.

The situation was not optimistic.

That cold and dead black energy, like the most stubborn grime, was firmly attached to the outer side of his Divine Domain’s crystal wall, and it was no longer just a simple mass of energy—it had formed an extremely bizarre, slowly writhing, and proliferating pitch-black pattern!

These patterns were like living black blood vessels, constantly drawing Death energy from the Void Realm, attempting to infiltrate the interior of the Divine Domain.

Inside the Divine Domain, on the new southern lands, undead creatures were still crawling out continuously from the contaminated soil!

Although the ones currently appearing were only low-tier skeleton soldiers, they could still be handled by the strength of his kin, who were clearing them out wave after wave.

But as those black patterns continued to grow and the infiltrating Death energy became stronger, the undead creatures that appeared would only become more powerful and more numerous!

One day, his Divine Domain would be completely submerged by this tide of Death.

Zhou Zheng’s expression turned completely cold, and frigid killing intent condensed in the depths of his eyes.

”Is this... an attempt to wipe me out?” This was a vicious, targeted curse!

He deeply noted this debt; the most urgent priority was to find a way to clear, or at least suppress, these damned black patterns.

The only good news was that since arriving at the Rainbow Plane, he discovered that the growth rate of the black patterns on the outer side of his Divine Domain had noticeably slowed.

Also suppressed were the blood-colored patterns of his Orc God System and the purple patterns of the ”Dimensional Portal.”

However, strangely enough, the blue patterns representing the ”Water Vein” and the cyan patterns representing the ”Wind Vein” had become unusually active.

”Is it because the energy attributes permeating this Plane are more inclined towards elements, repelling Death and blood energy?” Zhou Zheng guessed inwardly.

After recovering slightly, Zhou Zheng’s projection walked along the mirror-smooth streets of the Rainbow Plane.

On both sides were various bizarre buildings constructed from energy or strange Materials, representing shops or strongholds opened by different deities.

His footsteps took him past a building marked with a roaring beast-head emblem—this should have been a liaison point established by the Orc God System.

However, the doors were currently tightly shut, the emblem was dim and lusterless, and not a trace of divinity emanated from it; it had clearly been abandoned or closed.
